I'm on the xbone and I keep trying to get in to silver tournaments and it says it can't find opponents. Tried this two or three times a day since Sunday. Get league games all the time in seconds but always get matched vs five star teams so I'd like to play tournaments with my silver Argies. Slowing turning my Colombian side in to a silver / gold mix to compete a bit better as and when I can afford it.

Played a mini tournment with my mates at the weekend, my mate who's barely played fifa before managed to bag a hat trick with him 3 games in a row, and 4 in the next game. He seems to score every single shot he has.

Would depend what difficulty you are playing on, Leicester are a bit garbage. I tried World Class to start off with but the combination of it being a new version, it being the first next gen one I've played, the pad, and Leicester's general shitness meant I just couldn't score (didn't help I'd not got the feeling for the finishing, kept trying to trigger it into the top corner which appears to have been nerfed) and was conceding one or two goals a game, I spoke to my mate on the way back from work and he'd started with Leicester on professional and managed a massive one point after the Stoke game, although I am better than him he's not that bad so I decided maybe it was a general increase in AI ability instead of me struggling with the things above so started on professional. While it started off realistic enough (think I had about 2 points more after Palace than we've actually got) now I've got to grips with the things above I'm in the myst of a rather unrealistic title challenge about 15 games in but I really can't be arsed to start again now, .

Manwell Pablo Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 On the subject of weird occurrings in game I tried to whip a 40 yard free kick from wide into the box and ended up pluming it straight at the keeper (another thing that seems much harder to do on PS4) and instead of claiming the ball he took 5 steps forwards realized he had come to far took two steps back and stood there as the ball sailed over his head and into the goal making no attempt to even save it.

Just change it on the options. I started my career playing on World Class but switched it down to Professional after about 10 games.

Just figured its some weird online thing that I wouldn't care about and never go back in. I have tons of unlock codes or some shit for it though. If your ever unsure feel free to ask, it helps immensely when you understand the market and what goes for how much. http://www.futhead.com/ is a great website to get to grips with, generally the rule of thumb is if they are shiny gold with pace and from a decent league they tend to be worth a lot. For example if you have an iranian player in the Portuguese leagues and he has relatively average stats he will not go as he doesn't fit in with what people typically want to build. If you have a pacey striker in La Liga he will tend to sell.

In FUT I was getting bummed every game and now I'm doing okay. At first I thought I'd improved but, actually, is fifa just matching me against people it thinks are equally bollocks?

foxfanazer Posted 1 October 2014 Posted 1 October 2014 Only got it last night. Think it's a big improvement on 14. When playing online though the finishing from just outside the box is well hard. Just smash them wildly over the bar. Is there more emphasis on finesse shots on this one

I've neither scored nor conceded from outside the box yet. I think 50% of my goals have come from outside the area haha. Keepers standing about 8 yards out seems to be leading to lots of dipping shots going in.

To help this, I've herd seasoned players are being put in 6/7/8 to start off with. Although obviously if they've switched consoles like me they'll be in 10. (That'll be standard seasons as well not UT)
