purpleronnie Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Me and 10 of the teams with less points than us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Yep.. I'm happy with the points total. One game at a time..
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Absolutely would have, you can't play great every game you will have your bad days... we will bounce back
StanSP Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Considering who we've been up against, I definitely would have taken 8 from 6. To be unbeaten at home vs Everton, Arsenal & Utd is pretty good going regardless of if you've just been promoted or not. And to get a win at Stoke for any team is decent.
lgfualol Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I wouldn't of I would have taken them though
cjslcfc Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Delighted. Points are points, irrespective of who you win them off. Under 1/6th of the way through the season and probably 1/5th of the points we need to stay up. Considering the fixtures it has got to be counted as a good start to the season.
Jakemoore Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 This such a great point. Don't let this place go in to meltdown! Bring on Burnley next week, they're there for the taking!!
inckley fox Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I wouldn't of I would have taken them though You know there's all sorts of exciting essays about why 'of' can / does make sense in such sentences. Either way, I'd have taken 8 from 8, let alone 6. But I hope we don't take that sort of approach into the next two games!
Freesolo Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 i would have snapped at the chance to have 8 points after these 6 games pre season
RobHawk Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Exactly, poor day at the office but in this league it's our home games we need to make count, disappointing result but let's go get 3 points next week to make up for it!
Burbo17J2 Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I'm just looking forward to Burnley now... Nigel will drill into the players and make sure they get a result against Burnley
Monsell1976 Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I said at the start of the season 6 points from the opening six would be a good return, so 8 for me is good, but now we are playing some lesser teams, not poor but not as good as we have played, we need a good return from the next six

Buzzell Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I honestly thought we would struggle to get even 3 points out of the first 6 games but to get 8 is brilliant. Only problem is that with us doing so well, the fans expectations seem to have risen because of our recent run of form. Remember we have only just been promoted. It's a brilliant start but it won't last. We will lose games, we will play shit now and then. Let's deal with it, get behind the lads and take one game at a time. Roll on Burnley.
Deucalion Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 It remains to be seen whether we can raise our game against sides who we are not underdogs against. Hopefully Burnley will see this question answered.
DennisNedry Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 I'm happy with the total. If we fail to beat Burnley I fear a few of the forum ****** will rear their heads again.
sylofox Posted 27 September 2014 Posted 27 September 2014 Some had us getting our first point next week. But as we have started well and lost today (praps seen as our easiest match to date) we are shite. The muppets are out god help nige. Less than 12pts from the next 4 he is fvcked on here.
Oxfordfox83 Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 I'm chuffed to bits. Also, if someone told you two weeks ago we'd get three points over the next two games, and you can choose whether you beat Man Utd or Palace, is there a single person in Leicestershire or the world who'd have chosen Palace? This is brilliant, we're entitled to beat no one, but we've gone way beyond expectations. No team better than Burnley to get us back on track either. COYB!
Dan Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 I would have snapped your hand off - doesn't mean we should sweep yesterday's awful display under the carpet though. It really does annoy me how on here some refuse to ever hear a word of criticism even though it's justified.

Harry - LCFC Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 I think we've been one of the best performers in the league given our fixtures. I'm delighted.
jonthefox Posted 28 September 2014 Posted 28 September 2014 Very happy. I honestly thought our first chance of a point was at Stoke.
