Good grief 30% of 70 is 21, 90 is nearly 91. It's simple maths.

But please let something that happened 4 years back (and which I'm honest enough to own) mitigate your own personal responsibility on the roads.

I will hold my hands up to that. Shocking maths considering what i do!

Just looking for thoughts about this ...

Was just on my way home and ended up behind an old bloke whose driving was so erratic and dangerous it was scary.
Got to the point where I called 999 and followed him till they caught us up and stopped him.
He had a right old go at me for doing it but he just didn't seem to have a clue what he had done.
Showed the copper the dash cam video i had and he said I did the right thing.
Now I'm wondering what other people would have done ....

I've been behind people before who are also driving like that. Some i suspect of being over the limit. I've often thought about what you are supposed to do?

It would be useful to have a dashcam. Probably ought to get one.

Convenient.

Hardly convenient, it's what's happened.

Also wouldn't feel comfortable putting a video of somebody else on a football forum.

Sounds like you did the right thing to me.

People driving whilst on their bloody smartphone. Dangerous, selfish, irresponsible and illegal.

I have a hands free phone holder that's sticks to my windscreen,to answer a call I simply swipe the screen then press loud speaker,

is this an offence??????

I believe so, because you're touching the screen. Your concentration is taken by looking at the screen. A true hands-free would be just that, hands-free, no touching the screen.

I have a Bluetooth radio, just press a massive button on it. No screen, no eyes off the road etc.

You can use Siri to make a call - not sure about answering one.

Edit: you can.

Civil Parking Charge Notices. How enforceable are they? Got one from a company called Athena. Not sure if it's my poor memory but I think they were debated a while ago on here?

Throw it in the bin.

could they take it further (i.e. court/legal action) if it's not paid?

They could try, they will threaten too but they won't because ultimately they have no real case. If it's council, I pay. If it's these chumps I just ignore it.

Not roads, but my trains were all disrupted this morning due to wind. I mean, at least pretend it's signal failure or something lol.
