Leicester City v West Bromwich Albion match thread

De Laet gets turned too easily. I'm not entirely convinced that Simpson would be better though.

Ulloa might not have had a shot (see: No service), but I'd still back him to score much more often then I would Nuge.

Even so, he's fast enough to recover when that happens - montero found that last weekend: de laet managed to save himself fairly regularly when skinned. If you're leaving the fullbacks exposed they need to be quick.

Well yes, but he's woefully out of form - do we just persist with him no matter what?

How about we see how he performs with Vardy again rather than slating him before the whistle's blown? If he's suddenly shit, all right, throw Ulloa on and slow the game down a bit, but you're the one complaining about us hoofing the ball up to Ulloa every match and now that we're playing our pacey forwards who had a brilliant year last year again you're complaining that Nugent's shit

Ergh, stop making me see sense.

There is no width because we will try to play through the middle along the ground to Nugent and Vardy, rather than trying to whip it in to Ulloa.

I don't like it personally, it seems a tad boring. But maybe we'll actually get some passing going.

Optimistic. I think we'll find this gets the best out of Nugent and Vardy. Could do with Moore's pace in that back line though no? With no width to help the fullbacks?

What for? So he can sprint back to the goal line whenever they're in our box?

Sky Sports put it at a 4 - 3 - 3 with James up near top.

This has to be a 4 - 1 -2 -1 -2 I think, Cambi as DM, James/Drink in middle, King behind strikers.

Can't see what else we'll do with 4 CMs playing.

Just popped a tenner on Wasyl being red carded though so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

I hear that he has already been booked, under Premier League pansy rules, for his facial expression in the tunnel.

Would rather have james in a more defensive spot than a spot that could give him the opportunity to shoot. lol

Looking at their line up they have 3 players that can ping in long rangers, Brunt, Gardener and Dorrans, hopefully the numbers on midfield will stop them getting any time to get a shot away, Sessegnon and Berahino aren't lightening quick, but they have enough pace to trouble Was and Wes, hopefully we can cut the supply keep the ball and Nige is being touted as a tactical genius by the end if the game.

Would like to see us start with some creativity in midfield, would like to see wingers starting. I feel bad for Knockaert, I think he may ask to leave in Jan if he don't get any first team football .

Love Nige

Love Leicester

Hate 4 narrow midfielders

I really hope this doesn't go like every other narrow formation we've played this season. Can see it being a long afternoon...
