Liked the midfield in the first half. 

 

Mahrez is class but we've been outplayed in recent weeks in midfield.

 

Vardy looks like a livewire

 

Central defence is a lttle slow but doing the job well at the moment.

Much improved with regards to tenacity. Just need to let the confidence grow a little and get that bit of quality in the final 3rd. Was is having a great game, good decision from Nige there.

Think we're doing alright, Was has come in and performed well.  Few sloppy passes in midfield but overall we've kept the ball much better, lack of chances from open play is a slight worry but I'm sure we'll get at least one in the second half.

Konch has lost his head recently littered with mistakes, he's not the only one, drinkwater too. Other than that and a few breaks from them we've looked the better side and as long as we don't shoot ourselves on the foot well get something from this game.

We'll do well to score while we're still playing the diamond. West Brom looked very comfortable first half. Can see them stepping it up a gear early 2nd half and grabbing a goal. We'll respond by bringing Mahrez and probably Ulloa on and switching back to 442, which will look better for a time before we get tired and resort to hoofball. West Brom will grab a 2nd late on and it will be another tactical experiment failed.

I'd like to see Wood being given a shot. He has the physicality to bully the West Brom backs (like he did Everton's), and I think he combines well with Drinkwater, James and Vardy. Deserves the chance.
