One Legged Beaver Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Wasyl Schlupp James Cambiasso Albrighton Drinkwater Mahrez Ulloa Try and get the chances to fall to Ulloa for once. Mahrez needs to play on the left for me, his crossing from out on the right just isn't up to scratch.
Matt Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 I'm gonna start using reverse phycology, whenever we go into ever game saying it's must win, we never win, but its alright because the next game becomes must win, and the pattern repeats itself, over and over and over and over again sooooooo, this is a must lose game....and we will lose.
Fox92 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 These are absolutely gash. Which of the two teams are you referring to?
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 I would genuinely go back to last years first team Drinkwater in for Cambi, Knocky on the right. Vardy and Nugent up top. Moore and Morgan at the back. Schlupp left back, Mahrez left wing. And go for it with pace...
Daveaway Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 it will be the same old post match interview, we deserved at least a point, we adapted better in the second half long periods of the game we controlled blablabla
StanSP Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Balotelli to score but we'll still win. It's destined for the former to happen. Just pure hope about the latter!
Dickov22 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Simply dreading the thought of De Laet marking Sterling and he was appalling yesterday so he needs a rest. Wasilewski was woeful yesterday, Moore is a better player. The fact that we have those two to choose from in a Premiership fixture having waited ten years to get there is depressing. Are either good enough? We can't play two wingers at home to Liverpool but I pray to god whatever formation he picks we have at least one natural wide player in the side and it isn't the dreaded Sven- esk diamond with no width. I'd like to see: Kasper Simpson Moore Morgan Schlupp Infront of them: Cambiasso (he's pure class and anyone who doubts him can't be watching the same player I am) We need protection in front of the defence. I'd then have: James Drinkwater (good player and was unlucky to be dropped having barely had any time at all in his natural position eg not right of a midfield diamond) Mahrez Upfront Vardy (he can't keep missing these chances can he?) Ulloa (think he's done exceptionally well to maintain a good level of performance with the level of dross he's had to endure in terms of service over the last few weeks) Really hope the supporters get behind the lads and the manager. Despite his apparent poor show in the summer regarding transfers I think it would be very harsh to sack him after five great years on the back of 8 games. We are improving. I don't want Nugent anywhere near the squad, he's never going to cut it at this level. January is huge- we need a forward who guarantees goals (who though? Doesn't everyone want these players?!) . We also need a top centre half. Maybe Upson is that man, but we need to get him fit. Kasper needs to do better too.
Gazza M Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 I unfortunatley don't give us much chance in this one. I just feel we are playing a waiting game before Nigel is removed now. I see it probably coming after Villa on Sunday. I hope I am wrong and we get a couple of results but I think Pearsons time is nearly over. If we think we are being harsh, then look at Nigel Adkins at Southampton. He was sacked early on after back to back promotions with them, so had achieved much more in a shorter time frame. Surely worth shaking it up again especially at the back. Hamer in for me, Simpson, Moore, maybe Upson if fit and maybe Schlupp at left back as Konch is awful. Maybe Liam Moore to take the armband???!!!!
Steve Earle Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Cambiasso James King Drinkwater Mahrez Ulloa probably gives us as good a chance as any combination available. 'Course, I'd like to see: Keller Morgan Elliott Walsh Impey Izzet Cambiasso Lennon Guppy Marshall Cottee
Buce Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Good on ya Col. That's what I like to see. Just think it will be the mixture as before, buddy, but I pray your optimism is duly rewarded, buddy. Here's a word for you, DT: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sycophant

LCFC FOX Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Kasper Simpson Moore Morgan Schlupp Drinkwater Cambiasso Albrighton Powell Mahrez Wood Hamer, Upson, James, King, Knockaert, Vardy, Ulloa
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Literally no idea what time I would pick if I were the manager, If I were pushed I would probably go for this.HamerSimpsonMorganMooreSchluppMahrezJamesCambiassoAlbrightonVardy Ulloa.Subs: Kasper, De Laet, Wasyl, Drinkwater, Knockaert, King, Wood
DennisNedry Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Best time to play Liverpool. That's about the only positive I can think of. 0-2.
eastendfox Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Both Morgan and Vardy looked to take knocks towards the end, and can Cambiasso play another 90? Think we should bring back Moore in any case, and personally would bring in King for Mahrez as I think we need another box to box midfielder in the team.
Will1981 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Hamer Simpson Moore Upson Schlupp King Drinky Albrighton Powell Knocky Wood
cjslcfc Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Wouldn't be surprised to see us win after being so bad for so long. Would be a typical Leicester result. If we do manage the miracle, surely it would be a massive turning point!? I'd like to see the same team as QPR apart from the following changes: Simpson in for De Laet (what does De Laet have to do worse for Simpson to get a chance?) Moore in for Was (although Was may be able to rile Balotelli up if he plays) I'd love us to target their full backs. I don't think they are particularly good at the back. We can get at them there. If we sit back I reckon we will get picked off as we crumble when we invite that much pressure on ourselves (e.g. Southampton away, after going 1-0 up yesterday) Please, Nige, give De Laet a rest and keep Mahrez in the side. Judging by comments after yesterday's match we could see Albrighton in for Mahrez.
john ridley Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Can see us kick starting yet another teams fortunes, sadly another defeat and Pearson moving nearer the sacking trap door .
ARM1968 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 2-1 to us. Nothing to do with the litre of Jack I magically made disappear last night. Or the rampaging elephants in my head.
Guest Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 You not been lately? Was n cambo have done nothing wrong of late. LOVE to beat those scouse shits....dont care how we do it I've not been but I've had the pleasure of watching EVERY game in HD. Was has been woeful as far as being skinned. He has been very lucky not to be carded in EVERY game as he gets beat and then fouls blatantly. I'd hoped that his inclusion would mean that we'd have less problem with crosses and corners (considering that our goalie has a problem leaving his line) but he has been heading the ball upwards or forwards only a few yards. Personally I've been very disappointed. I'd like him next to me in a scrap but I'm waiting for the return of Moore in his place on the pitch. Camby is a difficult one, he does make a few great passes but he also gives the ball away, my problem with him is again his lack of mobility. How many times I see him unable to cover the opponent coming forward, who then moves past him and is free to shoot or slide a pass into another attacker, I've lost count. I was all for playing him with Drinky or James but I think we need to look at that again now. I'd rather have Mahrez on as our skill player and go with Drinky and James in Midfield.

MrAus Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 4-4-1-1 Schmeichel De Laet Was Wes Konchesky Albrighton Drinkwater James Schlupp Mahrez Ulloa Hamer, Simpson, Moore, King, Cambiasso, Knockaert Vardy. Not sure Cambiasso will manage 2 games in this amount of time?? Albrighton, much better defensively than Mahrez and we will need that against Sterling. Give Mahrez free role. 1-0 Drinkwater.
