ozleicester Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Im at a bit of a loss, ive watched the games (by bumpy stream so thats my excuse) but i cant see what needs to be done. I dont think (excluding swansea), that we have been that bad, we have been in and out of most games and had our chances, and to be fair we arent that far away from midtable. A couple of wins and its all different. But i just cant see what we need to do to get to safety... or even win a game. What are the three things you would do if you were made manager tomorrow?
Vardinhio Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Buy a new centre back 2. Buy a new striker 3. Buy a new midfielder Table speaks for itself the players are not good enough, we need to buy well in Jan
chicagofox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Sack Pearson Bring in a new manager Back the new manager significantly in January
KentyLCFC Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 the reason why we're playing good but still losing is because we're simply not good enough. i hate to say it because i thought we we're, but we're obviously not well individuals are not anyway. but i would: 1.not sack pearson 2.buy some QUALITY players in january. 3.get rid off konchesky.
cc_star Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Hamer 2. Have a dedicated CDM or two rather than both mids being up & down the pitch the whole game, if this means going 451 or its variation 4231, then so be it. Save playing with 2 forwards for later on if chasing a result. 3. Fast LW in January & become a counter attacking team, defend in numbers hit on the counter - it's the only way to grind out points & steal wins. Flat or diamond 442 "we'll certainly have a go at them" doesn't work unless you have the best players

Jace Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Let Ulloa have more freedom to stay up as a lone striker 2. Tell Vardy to run at defences more with the ball 3. Ban the West Stand **** (4. Get rid of zonal marking)
Captain... Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 What would I do? Dunno What will I do? 1. Support the manager 2. Support the team 3. Get every bit of enjoyment from this season I can
MC Prussian Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Support the manager 2. Support the team 3. Enjoy this season as much as possible
Rob1742 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I. Buy a centre back, or use Upson now Morgan is banned. 2. Buy a new striker. 3. Do the above, only if they should be good long term. The team are decent, but not good enough at this level. You need to buy without ruining what we already have. He has tried to keep last years team, just add two quality players and then buy squad players. The time is right to buy another two. We are just not good enough, but you can't ruin what we have as we still have a very good group. You ruin that and we go down and you could go down again. You need to keep that blend still.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1, Drop players that make the same mistakes game after game. 2, Buy some quality defenders in Jan. 3, Buy a new keeper to challenge kasper.
Greg2607 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I certainly wouldn't let jeff Schlupp anywhere near a premiership starting 11 again. he is genuinely dreadful.
buzzy Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 the reason why we're playing good but still losing is because we're simply not good enough. i hate to say it because i thought we we're, but we're obviously not well individuals are not anyway. but i would: 1.not sack pearson 2.buy some QUALITY players in january. 3.get rid off konchesky. what about changing 1 and 3 to sack pearson and to get rid of de laet because he is ****ing shite worse then konchesky
J.Lisemore Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Hamer. 2. A couple of recruits in January with more quality in area's we lack. (LB and LW) 3. Don't start Jeff Schlupp at LW, useless.
Raj Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 What would I do? Dunno What will I do? 1. Support the manager 2. Support the team 3. Get every bit of enjoyment from this season I can This...but its gonna be very hard enjoying this season....we thought it'd be hard but not as hard as this. Especially as we arent THAT bad a team!! If we were getting mauled then in a way it'd be easier!!!
Stadt Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'm not his biggest fan but I think Schlupp has done alright recently
VLC86 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1- Drive into town 2- Walk into the BBC office 3- Shit on Stringers desk
VLC86 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'm not his biggest fan but I think Schlupp has done alright recently He looked alright yesterday. By the look of Konch he is needed at LB.
foxer Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I'm not his biggest fan but I think Schlupp has done alright recently Same here. 1. New keeper - which would hopefully help solve the abysmal defence of all set pieces. Needs to be quality with a fair wedge paid for him if necessary. 2. New cb - need a massive bugger at the back. Again, should help with set piece defence. Again needs to be quality. 3. Keep playing like we have been. 442 and attacking. 451 for some of the big teams away. We can do this. (If the defence of set pieces hasn't been solved, then get someone in to bloody sort it)
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I don't understand the abuse Schlupp is getting, he has played alright the last few games. He didn't start the season great but he's been one of the few good things on the pitch lately.
Filbert_Ross Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Reckon the defence could be alright with two decent fullbacks.
Ricey Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1. Simpson for De Laet. 2. 3 in the middle against top half teams. 3. Address aerial weakness from crosses (ditch zonal marking and instruct full backs to close wide players quicker).
MooseBreath Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Albrighton for Schlupp Drinkwater for Vardy 451
Bamba's Babes Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 1- Buy a new striker 2- Buy a new RM so we can move Mahrez to the left 3-Replace the fullbacks

I agree with you,But also other posters in terms of where we need strengthening,we just don't seem To be able to be great at both ends of the pitch, last season if they scored 2 we could get 3,but now it seems inevitable that we'll concede at least 2 and at best score just 1
