It seemed strange to me to loan in a player that adds to our list of players without premier league experience.

Not bothered. Hope we get an attacking mid in Jan.

I was really interested to see this guy play. All you hear about is his ability etc, but hey ho.

Probably will turn out to be another Harry Kane.

He is quite talented and a game changer.

But not Pearson't type of hard working run around a lot  type player. Somewhat like a Berbatov though more hard working and less developed yet and less talented.

Where is the attitude stuff coming from ?

So long Nick. Will always remember your masterclass at Southampton and shot against West Brom that went out for a throw in.

Rosler wanted him back at Wigan and said so publicly despite him not getting on all that well during his tenure compared to Coyle's where he was pretty good for them.

He was injured quite a bit before his loan this year also.

Btw, Rosler also called him the most talented player and Coyle called him one of the best talents he has worked with.

Not the kind of player that every manager would like but if he clicks then he is a impact maker.

Was quite excited when he signed on loan, but what a pointless load of shit this has turned out to be.

Maybe we will get better in Jan.

What were they saying? Missed it.

He's a bellend who hasn't got the attitude to succeed. I don't think we've really done any harm in taking a look at him but Pearson's never really been wrong about players we've let go, especially in his second tenure. I've absolutely no doubt some of the 'I hate Pearson no matter what' brigade will be straight up defending Powell when the warning signs were there from the off.

And where did those two end up?

I know someone who watched the training match vs Villa in the first international break.  He said Powell looked good but asked me if there was a problem as the other Leicester players seemed to be "on his case".  Must be attitude problems.

And where did those two end up?

Sir Alex called him a certainty to make it at United along with Januzaj and also labelled him as a successor to Scholes kind of also  his detached attitude.

Ask crewe fans or Dario gradii about him also. That's pretty much all clubs he's been at and all managers he's worked with.

Can understand that. He is type of player who requires bit of man management to get him involved and in the groove and also trust of the manager to give him a pivotal role while making concessions for his position/workrate at times and his languid style.

Won't be liked by every manager or fit in every philosophy. Like if the AM is supposed to man mark the DM, him playing there don't expect that pressing or discipline regularly.
