melrose Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I used to have a mate that made his way to the back 5 mins after the second half kicked off in sk3 the filbo era!
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Don't think I've ever left a game early. Even the 5-0 defeats vs Bolton and Aston Villa, 6-2 vs Utd, 4-0 vs Chelsea, I stayed til the end. I am basically a better fan than all of you put together. bite. Just the truth.
Leicesterpool Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 As people have already have mentioned it's purely to do with transport. At the end of the day it's up to a fan when they want to leave, got nothing to do with anyone else. For a 3pm kick off I normally leave around the 88th minute, for a night game normally I stay till the finish as I've got plenty of time before the train goes.
ousefox Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Doesn't bother me - if they want to miss a last min equaliser or winner that's their own problem. Although I did find crazy when I was at a gig that was close to £100 a ticket and people were leaving before the encore.

Transport you say that like it's Wembley Stadium. There I can understand it as leave on 80th minute to the 90th makes a difference of about an hour and half. God help us should we ever extend our ground.
m4DD0gg Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Have never and will never leave early especially with the cost of tickets etc. More importantly i think its disrespectful to the club, players and management.
Dan Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Doesn't really bother me though I'd never ever do it in that position if I had the choice.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Have never and will never leave early especially with the cost of tickets etc. More importantly i think its disrespectful to the club, players and management. Get a grip for god sake.
Karljohn Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I was told that we were not allowed to exit at the front of the kop any longer as the club were being fined for the pitch being too small and were having to extend it and push the advertising board back. That came from a steward.
Harry - LCFC Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Silly people. They choose to miss moments like Drinkwater v Watford, Schmiechel/Wood v Yeovil and any other late goals (and the celebrations that come with them) this season and all for a bit more time at home. Poor choice.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Would you leave the cinema five minutes before the end of the film?
DennisNedry Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Yesterday we never once made Joe Hart make a save and never looked like scoring in a million years so what's the point sitting in traffic for an extra 45 minutes to an hour to watch the end? However when we do leave on about 88 minutes or so we don't stand on the stairs and block people.
DennisNedry Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Would you leave the cinema five minutes before the end of the film? If it was a film I'd seen 500+ times over many many years then yeah, probably.

Buzzell Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 People that decide to stand at the stairs to watch the last remaining minutes of the match pisses me off. Not only do they block my Grandads view but also hold every ****er up trying to leave once the final whistle has been blown.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 If it was a film I'd seen 500+ times over many many years then yeah, probably. You wouldn't go to the cinema to see a film that you had already watched 500+ times though? It's people's own prerogative what they do, I just don't understand it!
Itsthejoeker Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 I'd much rather watch the last 5 minutes and prolong my journey than get back to fookin Swindon.
LCFC Rennie Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Arsenal are the worst for it, even when they are winning the ground pretty much empties.
Filbert_Ross Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Would you leave the cinema five minutes before the end of the film? I've never been a cinema where 32,000 people try and leave together at the end. I don't get leaving early myself though if there is only one goal in it etc. Must be crap hearing the cheer of a dramatic late goal walking off up Raw Dykes road.
CosbehFox Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 We have a problem where I sit that people go to leave but then any hint of an attack they just stop still on the stairs.
RonnieTodger Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Alway have and always will leave on 88 minutes. My reasons are absolutely none of your business. What's really annoying is threads like this. Why tell us then? It doesn't bother me, unless I'm constantly having to stand up for these people. Although, the family stand looked awful yesterday in stoppage time. Just makes it even better if we score a late goal.
lestajigs Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 What a stupid question! It's ovious people wanna get home a bit earlier, who cares
