Why would he want to come here? Decent player, but struggling to score goals in the Premiership.

He's looking the real deal, if you want to judge on his goals alone, then fine, but the amount of work he gets through for the team is incredible. He runs the channels, and links the play so well.

He won't leave, not for that money, and not to you for any money. Can you close the thread? :)

I seem to remember Bristol City fans with a similar attitude re Maynard a few seasons back. Tbf they were part right too, in the respect he didn't join us.

Saw him make his debut at Bournemouth and have followed his career since. Works hard, good goal scorer in the Championship, but not sure he's top notch Prem quality.

Mate, Nugent does that for us and gets absolutely slated.

Honestly the most pointless thread in existence: Burnley don't want to sell and we'd be mad to spend £8m on a worse striker than we already have, especially when we have a far more urgent need to reinforce the back line.   Barmy.

I assuming we're doing this as adults? Of course he'll leave, more than likely in the summer, unless a big offer comes in. But, he won't leave to aside that will, more than likely, be relegated.

Don't get ideas above your station. There's an excellent chance that you'll still be well and truly in the mire come May as well, a draw at Manchester City doesn't make you Champions League contenders.

I'm not sure he was saying they wouldn't be.

Depends on who offers money for him - £8m from us vs. Compensation from say Everton. I know where I would push him to if I were the burnley CEO (our ex Lee hoos FYI).

That said I don't see him coming here, given that Burnley seemed almost happy to let Austin go so that he could play shows how highly he is regarded.

Has committed to Burnley for the rest of the season at least according to SSN.

Says he couldn't possibly leave them in their current situation - fair play to him for that.

Yep. Almost young enough to be his son too.

Ings is at least 43.

More likely means he knows he can get more wages at the end of the season as they woudnt have to pay much of a transfer fee....

How's Hammonds ankle injury looking? Got to be close to returning to full fitness...

Elvis? Fine mate, he's numb from the nose down anyway.
