Danny Ings

Is he even prolific? He's had one good season and in the previous two he scored a grand total of 6 goals so who's to say that wasn't just a flash in the pan.

The season before last he was out for 6 months injured and the season before that at the age of only 19 he played only 15 times in his first ever season in the championship was playing on loan for a non league team before then too

Plus He's only 22! lol

I reckon this is just Nigel playing games with Burnley, trying to unsettle Ings. We all know how it works.

I hope it's a serious bid and not like the James McArthur business ,we are in know position to be messing about,we need players in asp

Can't say I watch Burnley avidly but the thing I like the most about Ings is (from highlights) his ability to create his own chances. Ulloa rarely does that and Vardy and Nugent have not taken there's when they have done so on that basis Ings would be a good signing imo. Could play well off of Ulloa as he did with Vokes last year too. Don't see this move being more than newspaper bullshit though.

I heard Pearson wants us relegated so he's just going to piss around in Jan....

You might be better with Barnes. Was always the man making Ulloa look good last season.

Ulloa is looking pretty good without him.

Quite impressed with what I've been seeing of Barnes on MOTD lately. Seems to hold the ball up really well and is good in the air. Think he outjumped Demichellis for both of your goals.

I know its January and all that, but surely 8 million quid is a bit steep for a player whose contract runs out in summer and has only scored 4 goal this season.

I don't think he will leave anyway, in the light of current form it would be a sideways possibly backwards move?

Current form certainly doesn't matter too much, what matters is will he sign for a team bottom and not likely to be in PL next season? the choice unfortunately isn't just between us and burnley...

I can't see it myself... he will wait till his contract is out and join a PL team in the summer.

He won't leave, not for that money, and not to you for any money. Can you close the thread? :)

He can't leave? He won't leave? Surely won't leave? Please don't leave? Mum? MUM?!?
