SecretPro Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 IMO i'd rather have Ings then this Kramaric bloke You are Mental.
lavolpe Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 IMO i'd rather have Ings then this Kramaric bloke Why? Do you doubts about Kramaric being able to adjust to the Premier League?
indierich06 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I don't understand why people think that signing Ings would suddenly transform our side - Burnley are just three points ahead of us, still well in the mix for relegation, and Ings hasn't even scored as many as Ulloa. Austin would be a different kettle of fish, but he isn't leaving QPR to come here any time soon.
tylesta Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 IMO i'd rather have Ings then this Kramaric bloke kramaric has a similar record in the the same league mandzukic came from he hasn't done to bad
Lambert09 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 It's not even that I don't think karmaric will cut the mustard, I just really rate Ings. Always have, expect him to go onto big things. Like someone else said earlier shows signs of a young shearer

Like someone else said earlier shows signs of a young shearer Only 5 goals in the Premier League though. That's two less than Ulloa so far. Kramaric might be playing in a lower standard of league but he's scored 28 goals in 31 games so far this season, that's prolific. I'd rather we went for a proven goalscorer than someone who's playing at the team just three points ahead of us and has proved that - this season - he's not even as good as our best striker.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Young Shearer? Really? In what way is he anything like Shearer. Awful shout I'm sure a heard that shout on Match of the Day the other day?
Stadt Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Wasn't Shearer a big target man that was a good finisher? Ings is a more technically gifted Nugent who looks like he was put together by the council
HK18 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I'm sure a heard that shout on Match of the Day the other day? Is that supposed to justify it? The punditry on Match of the Day is woeful, should just let Gary do it as a one man show, would be far more informative.

Mullet1 Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 19:48 SSN FOXES EYE STRIKE DUO Sky sources have told us that Andrej Kramaric is currently in Leicester discussing personal terms ahead of a proposed move to the King Power Stadium. But even if they do sign the Rijeka forward, Sky Sports understands Nigel Pearson could still pursue Burnley striker Danny Ings after a bid of around £7.5million was turned down by the Clarets before the transfer window opened.

Ings is a more technically gifted Nugent who looks like he was put together by the councilShearer is about 5'11In his early 20s he was a fast, mobile, strong centre forward and a great finisher. He was pretty much the perfect all round striker, like a shorter Drogba but more prolific. Then he did his cruciate (twice?) and adapted how game to be a target man (who still scored a shitload of goals). He was a brilliant, brilliant player - the last Englishman to command a world record fee when he was at the peak of his powers.

I remember shearer for Blackburn when they won the league,an amazing striker on par with Henry
kimsalabim Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I'm sure a heard that shout on Match of the Day the other day? They were not describing Danny Ings with that comment, they were describing Harry Kane.

Only 5 goals? That's a decent return from a striker nowadays. Heading for 10 for the season, people scoring that in the Prem go for £6-£14m.
Rincewind Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 I was told about Danny Ings earlier. I said they were having me on. I'll believe it when I see it happen. He'll score if he gets the service and the rest of the team plays well. Don't know why Burnley would sell him though. He's their hope of staying up.

He's just 6 foot, again I'm showing my age (or lack of it) here but I'd always thought he was a big powerful target man that was a good finisher, I've never really seen his goals like I have Henry's or Bergkamp's.
MooseBreath Posted 6 January 2015 Posted 6 January 2015 Lings would be a good signing now the Kramaric deal is off but can't see him coming here in a month of Sundays unless Burnley go down and we stay up

Salford Kel Posted 7 January 2015 Posted 7 January 2015 I'm sure a heard that shout on Match of the Day the other day? The ****** on there don't know their arse from their elbow, the fact you take what they say as gospel is quite frankly laughable.
sylofox Posted 7 January 2015 Posted 7 January 2015 so it seems to be Kramaric Ings and Defoe 2 out of 3. Are we not looking to put any strength in our defence. I know it is early in the window but all talk seems to be about forwards. Even with 2 out of the 3 not sure we can just score our way out of trouble. This is not the championship we need to defend as well.

We won't defend better then we are doing at this level even if we invested in the back four so I think Pearson has the right idea. We lack goals for not against.
