i've had various experiences with taxi drivers

in hong kong i got flipped off last week by a random taxi driver for stepping out on the road when he was 10 seconds away, ended up chasing the ****er when he was on a traffic light and gave him a telling off in the little cantonese i know

although another time i was on the way back from a messy night and i was speaking to a taxi driver about leicester's troubles and he seemed very understanding about the plight even though he didn't speak much english

Scousers are legit the nicest set of people I've met though. The sterotyping of them isn't correct, and although sometimes it is funny, they are much more than what people think of them.

I commented on the anfield experience thread, that the people and the experience was very friendly, and this just backs up how friendly they are.

All cities have their good and bad, but it does restore the faith in people, and the bloke who helped is a class bloke, to help and give money to complete strangers, just to make sure they are safe, is one of the kindest things I have seen.

It's sad that people are surprised when this happens, peoples faith in their fellow man must be low, and for no apparant reason.

Quote me next time please.

How often do you hear of these type of things?

The other week I was in town. Asian girl drops her brand new iPhone 6 doesn't even realise I pick it up run after her tap her on her shoulder and say excuse you've just dropped your phone, I get the dirtiest luck ever and 'oh thanks'.

The other hand, someone picks it up takes it.. girl no longer has a phone.

There is more wrong done than right.

As an Asian lad I can tell you what you did wrong.

Asian girls are brought up with a princess syndrome you see. It comes from Bollywood movies etc. What you should have done was respectfully call her madam to get her valuable attention, kneel on your knees and hand her the device while saying her phone somehow dropped out of her purse. By tapping her shoulder  and telling her she dropped her phone, you're making her look more like a buffoon than a princess. They say you reap what you sow and you really had that coming.

Let me know about your future interactions with Asian women and I'm happy to help pal

That would have been terribly racist, if a white person had written it.

Some black cab drivers are tossers. I've had them drive off or refuse to take me before when I've asked to go on the metre as their quoted price is always £8/10 more than the metre price.
