Went to Indian Queen on Friday night. Such a funny venue, still cash only and proper regulars inside. The starters are excellent, with the lamb chops being the best in Leicester IMO. Mains are pretty average but do the job. Screens everywhere with the football, cricket and golf all on at the same time on Friday. Kind of place that if it was in London would be all over social media.

Tell you what isn’t decent…. Barnacles, been a Cpl of times in the past few weeks as it’s easy to take people near the office but it’s gone downhill and still at a premium price.

I thought it was bang average when i went. Certainly not worth it for the price

It is sad seeing the Swan and Rushes in that state. But glad it’s not empty at least.

Considering  I'm 54 and born and bred in this shithole city of ours I'd say that's some endorsement  for you🤣🤣🤣👍🏾

 

Had a paddy's last night, kids love the fish pakora but I gotta say the mix veg curry was very underwhelming to the point of being average. ( Stick to my veg keema curry next time)

haha. I think Paddy's gets some unfair criticism. It has got more expensive, but it's still right up there for me. Once you know the best dishes there you'll always have a good experience!

Did Chef's Flavour the other week which was solid. Doing Durham Ox (long overdue) next week and then Balmoral and Sharmilee in December. Will report back after!
