a strikers main job is to score goals, our 3 strikers have not done that in the last 3 games and now our main striker is injured .

if  someone can't do his job you get someone new in and see if he can, time for Kram to come in and be given a chances .

Kram and Shinji in vs Spurs for me .

Shinji was completely anonymous for 30'. Leo ****ed up a few chances in 45'. Clearly the one who did his job better was the one that did absolutely nothing at all.

Scenario :

He gets the ball

Looks at camera emotionally

Whispers : 'One last time'

Time slows down

Swings his foot determinedly

Chips the ball into goalkeepers hands

Moves to Torino

With the decision to put Vardy under the knife taken and the performance of Ulloa and Shinji yesterday Krameric should be in prime position to start next week if Claudio feels he has a future here,

i am a big fan of Leo but overall Shinji has scored 3 goals and won one pen this season and Leo has missed a lot of chances .

Leo when he is good does brings more to the table than Shinji except goals sadly, Leo has missed way to many chances this season for my liking.

That compares missed chances to missing chances. Can't forget Leo's assists either and Shinji's lack thereof.

how man goals has Leo created this season ?

i don't really mind who starts out of the two vs spurs, i am just picking Shinji because he has found the net more and that is what you want your striker to do but if Leo can start finding the back of the net like he did last season then we are laughing.

Kram and Leo or Shinji vs Spurs please.

Doesnt really matter if he plays against Spurs I imagine it will be pretty horendous viewing for us. Sitting on the edge of the box smashing it onto Vertonghen and Diers head all game.

Haven't they both got one assist each? Neither have exactly been creative forces so far this season but there's no way Shinji has been any worse in that respect than Ulloa.

Vardy's consolation Arsenal goal.

Vardy's Newcastle goal.

3 goals+assists each in 60% of the time. It works out to being .5 goals+assists per90 with Leo and .3 with Shinji. Even if you count Shinji's penalty won, it only brings him up to .4.

One has made 9 passes that led to shots in 542 minutes and the other has made 8 passes that led to shots in 896 minutes and you want to say that they're equal?

edit: But to answer if they both have 1 assist? No. Leo has 2. Shinji has 0. However even if you count the pen, it works out to being involved in less goals+assists per90. I said it in some other post.

People don't just deserve a crack, they need to earn it.

playing silly buggers now.....or as the snobs say devils advocat.

We have known and seen some players, can only earn it when picked to play. Some look lousy in training...

But even saying that, if Ulloa or Shinji are chosen who, covers the strikers roll from the Bench, or if one or

both are not first choice, who plays up front.

look I would grin like a Cheshire cat for a whole year, and live on tips from excited japaneses fans, for ever,

If Shinji slips into Vardys place for 2-3 games and becomes a sensation.

Like Keegan once said...'I would love it, really love it...if '

He won't. Ulloa is our next best striker, the one by far best equipped and best proven to have coped at Premiership level. Then comes Shinji because he can shoot if he gets the chance and he is useful if he doesn't.

But he's a bench player at best for the level we're playing and Kramaric hasn't shown the slightest indication that he either can cope or particularly wants to cope.

Once again, we don't seem to have anyone available from our reputedly illustrious Academy/Under 21 system for all that it's supposed to be in business to provide a constant supply of players coming through for different positions.

It's all "gunerbee" from that direction not because they don't produce players but because we don't have a policy, such as Southampton had, of actually feeding our most promising options into the team.

We give em a game or two in the Cup within a hotch-potch side and that's it. A total waste of time and likely to do more harm than good.

The Bournemouth game was a brilliant example of our failings in this direction. If Dodoo or Lawrence had been here they could have come on instead of loanee Dyer - but no, it simply couldn't happen. Why? If either of those lads pose less threat than Dyer did yesterday they should think about another career.

Whoever comes in, we will have to change our game plan, which could work out to our benefit.

Wouldn't mind giving Kram a game in a nothing-to-lose FA Cup game in the withdrawn role with Okazaki or Ulloa ahead of him.

It worked alright with the latter in theLeague Cup, if it weren't for that horrendous miss of Kram.
Hope Ranieri knows how to setup in the league though where it's pretty damn important we at least get a point to hold them at arms length...

Given the performances so far this season of Ulloa and Shinji, I cannot believe that Kram won't be heavily involved at Spurs.  For crying out loud, if I went to training everyday at Leicester uninvited and put my hand up when the question is asked "who wants to play up front", I'd be annoyed not getting a look in with those two in front of me in the queue.  If I cost the club nearly 10M and they paid my wages I'd be suicidal.

We haven't seen much of Kramaric, but from the little I have seen, when he is on it, he can be a real game changer.  That is a quality I haven't seen from Leo for a long time or from Shinji ever.  Give the boy a chance - he deserves it and I don't think it is possible for him to be any worse than the other two.

Got to be given a chance with vardy out surely, how bad Leo is playing, I would leave if I were him, if he doesn't get a start .

I'm starting to think it'll be Leo or Oka up top alone, with the other on the bench with Paniyouto (definitely spelled that wrong). Has Ranieri or Shakespear got a fit daughter/grand daughter that Kram could be banging?

Posted

Im not a Ulloa or Okazaki hater but if they went upfront on there own they just do not provide a threat in the slightest at all, neither has the ability to take a player on and they have not looked a threat in front of goal.

Im not saying Kram has been great but he hasn't had much of a chance or even a start, what we do no is what he has done at previous clubs and like against arsenal last year and we know the ability is in their. Maybe finally give him a start?

Spoke about this at the game Saturday, when you look at the performances of Leo and oka this season, he must have a serious attitude problem, or lazy in training, to never been given a shout.

Ok Leo has the physical build to mix the style of play up, but has looked awful all season, and oka has worked hard, but not really threatened, and looks a bit weak, either that or he likes laying on the pitch.

Just cannot understand why he's not been given a run, I could understand if he'd had a run of games and been shite, but he's not had a chance since being here.
