Kilworthfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 From watching him, to me its obvious that he has alot of ability, however what is hindering him is that he doesn't have the physical abilities of ulloa, and the defensive abilities of okazaki. However as a player likely to have a better goals per game ratio I'd have him ahead of those 2. I don't think that kram has had a fair shot at showing what he could do in this team. Last season he scored 2 decent goals if I recall correctly, and we saw him opperate in a solo role, and I'm sure that hes better suited to playing with a partner. I'd give him a good run of 5 or so starts to see how he suits vardys game. You never know he could be another star... I really do think he will be, Here or elsewhere.
Wymsey Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Can see him playing a part today. Wouldn't be surprised if James will be on the bench.

I totally understand how some people think he needs a run to show what he can do but don't understand why we should should just shove him in and risk undoing our fantastic start to the season ???? Surely, unless we get injury enforced changes we should send him out on loan. If, on the other hand, he and his agent want him to go and he is not prepared to wait for his chance or put in a massive performance on the training ground, then we should let him go. We obviously wont recoup what we spent but I think that is more than compensated for by the massive gains we have made on others (Kante, Mahrez, etc). Not every signing fits in perfectly 'overnight' ... or indeed at all.
sdb Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Watching last season's review the other day it's clear he does have a lot of ability. Needs to sharpen his finishing a little but not one to throw on the scrap heap that's for sure. 90 mins next week hopefully.

I'm sure that what I read in the Croatian media reports above, quote that he wants to be at lcfc, but he would consider a loan as he wants to be involved in the euros. Thats a totally understandable position, and an excellent mentality and tells us fans how our squad are currently interacting. Its fantastic! For giving him an opportunity, I'd suggest that we currently have an issue with the Ulloa / Okazaki position. They are not starting every game for a reason. Neither have solidified their place as imo they are not up to standard. Kramaric should be given an opportunity. I think this because I believe that he has more ability than the other 2. I could be wrong, but thats opinions for you.

Of course there is the cup game (although I really really want us to do well in that but I understand the league is priority). To me the loan option is best for all, we can see what he can do, he gets game time and we keep him. One other point is that CR sees him every day in training and if he thought he was better than the Ulloa/Shinji option don't you think he would play him or bring him on two thirds of the way through games ?? ... something there doesn't add up, ... imo.
cityfanlee23 Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I rate the lad..it would be no wonder if he has lost a bit of confidence after so long...no doubt he has the ability. Yep, totally agree. I really hope he's given a start against Bournemouth, we haven't found a good enough partner for Vardy yet and this lad deserves a run-out. These. He's played almost 300 minutes less than okazaki in his leicester career and until recently Okazaki and Ulloa have been average. Last season when he arrived we were struggling and he got a half decent run in the team whilst in a much harder division (A bigger step up than the championship to the prem) now we are flying he can't get a game, and is still adapting, funny how okazaki gets so much backing from this forum because hes "adapting" to the league, yet a larger portion of fans have already written kramaric off because he's "Lightweight" and not good enough... Kramaric has a lot to offer, On the ball he is fantastic, can turn on a penny, has decent vision, and we know he can find the back of the net when he's confident, Just look at his game against arsenal and see what he's capable of. Just a reminder to everyone aswell, he done this on only his 4th prem game for us. He's got talent, we need to get it onto the pitch, for that he needs a run.

On the flip side to my comment, I agree. It's a difficult one, you only have to look at his arsenal game to see his talent, only his 4th app in the premier league and he plays like that, he done a better linking job than ulloa or okazaki have mustered this year, However if he's not hot in training it's difficult to get a game, unfortunately he looks as though he's a confidence player, his lack of game time may well be affecting his mindset in training.

Think thats the bottom line Lee and how we sort that one out I don't know, but if we could sort it, happy days.

Kilworthfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 When he had 10 minutes at Anfield, he did as much as he could, he ran around. He did not get an opportunity to score or set up a goal. I think that shows his intention to give as much effort as possible to get a start. I'd be suprised to hear different from the training ground. Claudio will give him a chance, and im confident that he is better than our 3/4th best option.
Livid Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Much as I would like to see him be given a decent chance, he couldn't make the bench on Tuesday. I think he has ability I'm beginning to think he won't get the chance to prove it here. Claudio sees a lot more of him than we do and ultimately we have to trust his judgement.
Eastwellfox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Not even on the bench today. Must admit i would have liked to see him start today.
polarbear Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 I'd be happy to say he's shit and we should get rid if he was given an actual decent run in this team but in all honesty no one can say he has
Psihobambi Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Now, with Ulloa, Okazaki and Dyer in bad shape, it will be interesting to see how Kram will perform in FA cup. And if he performs well will he decline loan offers and stay here
Tuna Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 He needs a chance against Spurs and he needs to take it.
les-tah Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Ulloa/Okazaki/Ulloa/Okazaki/Ulloa/Okazaki/Ulloa/Okazaki/Ulloa/Okazaki..... its like that week in week out, either try Kramaric or sell him and bring in someone else Were obviously not sure what to do up top any more apart from just sling vardy up there with some.
StanSP Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 waiting for people to come in here and say he would have made a difference today, as if they are psychic . no-one was scoring today. kramaric would have been no different with the way Bournemouth set up, especially after the red.

Nope unfortunately Bournemouth going down to 10 men was terrible for us. But the fact is ulloa and Okazaki just don't seem to look up to it at all! Kram must be shite in training or something. Sell up and/or get another world class striker in.
lgfualol Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 They (ranieri/coaches) must think he's really really shit.
ScouseFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 one day someone is going to have a vision of him starting a game and he actually will. this is my fav thread on here i reckon. "Have a feeling he will be starting today in a total change of system style and personal from the team that has got us top of the league" 2pm... not even on the bench every week
STUHILL Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Play him for 90 mins at FA cup and hopefully he can show glimmers of what he can do, otherwise I would cut my losses and sell or loan and bring in someone else to play along side Vardy as Ulloa and Shinji will never contribute enough goals
GingerrrFox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Can't be any worse than Ulloa was in that first half. Ulloa was ****ing dog shit.
EnglishOxide Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 The last 30 minutes today were MADE for him. Bournemouth were penned in and he would have found space for himself to get some shots off. In contrast Shinji touched the ball like twice and made no intelligent runs. He has a better eye for goal than Leo and Shinji. Simple as.
