Renart Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 He looked useful. Ran in to trouble a few times but had a go. Decidedly light weight - he is not a strong player but if we can get the ball to him in space he looks like he can make things happen. Reads the game well and gets into dangerous situations; we just need to get the ball through to him. Should have scored one and deserved a penalty: not bad for a full debut.
Itsthejoeker Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 The way he read the play just before that shot Vorm saved was incredible.
theessexfox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Good movement, good dribbling and link up play, physically weak, should've scored first half, was thinking early on that the poor lad will never get a chance here especially after Drinkwater should've slipped him through for a one on one.
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 To be honest, that performance would have been criticised if it had have been Nugent. Did look quite lively though and some good movement. Mahrez looked really lightweight in his first few games but has toughened up a bit now I think.
Stevosevic Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Neutral view - positive. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2924577/Andrej-Kramaric-FA-Cup-debut-forget-booked-diving-Leciester-City-s-record-signing-talent-Premier-League.html
GaelicFox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 When he got.on the ball he looked good, he will improve, best thing was he stood up well to the power of premiership defences, he will do great
Ashley Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I said it last week his movement and understanding of the game is unreal however he's lightweight needs to bulk up
Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Need Lloyd dyer back to help bulk this skinny boy up!!!!
Dan Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Very positive player. He'll be quality when he gets used to the English style.
ronnup Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Barring terrible referring and superhuman goal keeping he would've had two today and we'd be going into melt down. Great potential and a really positive start. Made at least 2 brilliant scoring opportunities.
dayday Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 What does lightweight actually mean?,Mahrez is apparently lightweight but does ok,Sanchez is lightweight yet he is the dogs bollocks, the guy from Stoke Bojan,he is the best player they have ever had according to there fans. I don't get it?
Jakemoore Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 A few good moments. He's clearly an intelligent footballer and can pick a decent pass. He's our most skilful striker, I can tell that already. But he had chances to shoot a few times today but chose to pass, I'm not sure he'll score from outside the box very often.
Stadt Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Do we need bodybuilders or something? It's hard not to be 'lightweight' if it's your build. We've not signed him to wrestle centre halves, we've signed him to put the ball in the net and strength isn't essential to do that.
v6rat Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 He'll get stronger and better as the season goes on when the goals start to slam in.
MHC Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I said it last week his movement and understanding of the game is unreal however he's lightweight needs to bulk up Lightweight? You mean like Lionel Messi or Gianfranco Zola?
shade Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 we love to coach flair out of players or "bulk them up".
Ashley Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Lightweight? You mean like Lionel Messi or Gianfranco Zola?
Corky Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Don't like his habit of going to ground when tripped.
Itsthejoeker Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Don't like his habit of going to ground when tripped. Habit? Please tell me you're joking.
Fox92 Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 These things take time. A bit of promise today. His best chance (can't decide if he should score or it's a very good save) highlighted his intelligence to get into that position. Watched the run again on the highlights. Shame about the booking, mind.
deep blue Posted 25 January 2015 Posted 25 January 2015 A few good moments. He's clearly an intelligent footballer and can pick a decent pass. He's our most skilful striker, I can tell that already. But he had chances to shoot a few times today but chose to pass, I'm not sure he'll score from outside the box very often. I was impressed. Intelligent, has a good poacher's instinct, unlucky not to score and earned a stone-cold pen. I think he'll be a success for us.
