Guest Col city fan Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The usual positive spin. Probably from some of the same people who 'thought we could get something out of this game' (and there were plenty pre match) I find some of the tactics and selections truly bizarre today. None more so than not playing Albrighton out wide and having the two in central midfield. Rubbish. We didn't even make a fist of the game.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I'm thinking starting with Nugent and Kramic could be the key!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Wrong team to start with. Poor tactics from NP today, sorry but true
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Were shit. They took foot off so much in second half. Basic mistakes costing us again especially for first goal, just poor. Finally had a bit of a go in the end when NP finally sorted tactics and players out. Why doesn't Albrighton start instead of sticking Vardy ineffectively on the wing. Just lacklustre the today. Best thing is that we kept defeat to two goals and results went our way
bellind Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Yep losing 3-1 away to one of the most expensively assembled squads in the world has condemned us to relegation with a 1/3 of the season still to go. Diddnt see u post over the last month when we've been doing well. While still on the Bottom.
LanguedocFox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 this is true but we can't keep saying this as ee are running out of supposedly winnable games. Can't keep putting more pressure on.games like palace next week...horrible horrible season..... Have you seen our last eight fixtures? Apart from Southampton, they are all winnable.
Blanesta Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I'm pleased we didn't lose by a shed load of goals, goal difference could be crucial come the end of this season.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 If we are serious about staying up then Drinkwater and Vardy have no value unless we're short on numbers. Both have had countless chances and have barely made an impression. Enough's enough.
The Doctor Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 You do not know what it stands for !!! We do know that you're a bell end though ya ****.
Raj Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Have you seen our last eight fixtures? Apart from Southampton, they are all winnable.yeah like burnley at home was winnable!
st albans fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Inc the two cup games we have played five of the 19 PL sides in jan and no result from the first half of the campaign has repeated. Unless we are going to draw 10 of our last 14 games, a continuation of that stat will keep us up!
Gerard Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 It's all relative and relatively we've had a good weekend. We got zero points just like these teams but we've gained on them with "points expectation". It's highly likely that it will be three from eight that get relegated. We lost away At Man Utd QPR lost away at Stoke Burnley lost away at Sunderland Hull lost at home to Newcastle Crystal Palace lost at home to to Everton West Brom lost at home to Tottenham Aston Villa didn't play so they've gained today as have Sunderland who were the only relegation candidate to get any point but that was against fellow relegation candidates Burnley. We just need to stay in touch over our next nightmare few fixtures and we have done today. I'd have took today's results this morning for sure.
LanguedocFox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 You do not know what it stands for !!! True. I was just guessing from your comments that it stood for bellend.
weller54 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I agree about Vardy and Drinkwater, but not Morgan. Who are you going to play instead? And he has a great understanding with Was, Upson!!!!.... Morgan is a walking disaster area at the moment... He needs a break!
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Fortunately other results went our way. Make no mistake though, today was unacceptable from players and management. Very little effort and a tactical and defensive disaster. What's Pearson got to say about Albrighton since he came on and predictably was by far our best player? Nothing he ain't talking to RL is he!
5waller5 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The thing that annoys me more than anything about losing is how gobby and confident Stringer is getting again ..... "I'd ask the question if I could but you know the situation and I can't" "If anyone else is brave enough in the media to ask the question then let me know" KNOB KNOB KNOB KNOB KNOB KNOB KNOB KNOB.

So it's not such a disasterous day for us.. ITS ALL ABOUT NEXT WEEK!!!
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Drinkwater 58% pass completion today. Vardy 8 passes attempted, 3 completed (38%).
funkyrobot Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 From now on let's stick with 4-5-1 against the top teams!

Not the same albrighton you said wasn't good enough I hope.....
Webbo Posted 31 January 2015 Author Posted 31 January 2015 Was's goal was the 300th Man U have conceded at home in the PL.
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Erm..... Not the same albrighton you said wasn't good enough I hope..... Best of a bad bunch. Vardy as a winger? And your 4-4-2 worked a treat.
sly1 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Palace game next week massive game must win game c'mon city.
Tuna Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Was's goal was the 300th Man U have conceded at home in the PL. And the award for the most pointless stat of the day goes to...
