DennisNedry Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Expected to lose, but didn't expect us to roll over so easily.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 We didn't lose any ground today and we were the only team playing a top side; it's not an awful day.
Livid Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I've given up asking what Albrighton has to do to get picked, but what the hell has Ben Hamer done to get dropped ?? I just don't get the thinking behind Pearson's selections some days.

Corky Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 We lose two in a row playing awfully and no difference to survival. The bottom seven should all be relegated, we're all turgid, inept shite.
SecretPro Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Didn't expect anything out of the game today so not too fussed, however several things really grating on me and heres a few points: 1. Vardy gets a start again? Not just a start but ahead of Albrighton? On the Wing? 2. Drinky and King. Wow. 3. I counted in the first half (got bored by the second) - pretty sure there was ONE pass to Kramaric feet all half and he created a through ball for Vardy with it. 4. Point number 3 has made Ulloa look sh*t, and is already starting to make Kramaric look sh*t. Noticed in the match thread people already saying 'Kramaric, what a waste of £9m' - these people clearly don't understand the game. Service, service, service. 5. Thats three appearences for Kramaric and obviously with no service he has no goals - his confidence must already be on the slide, the longer this lack of service goes on the worse it will get. 6. Sign someone who can give service. Please. 7. Do other teams in the Prem make so many changes to the starting line up literally week in week out? Genuine question because I havn't really paid attention but seriously, pick the best team, or as close to it as you can get, and stick with it (this is how football use to work). Anyone who says 'yeah, but he doesn't know who the best team is' should be saying 'what? Really? It's February tomorrow.' 8. Jesus ****ing christ, I liked Mahrez before, but I didnt realise how critical he was to our squad. 9. I can't wait for Mahrez to come home. 10. I don't want Nige out, I really don't. But please buddy, stop picking your buddies. I'm literally watching us bring a CB in on loan and I already know that if he replaces anyone, it will be Was - our best CB by a country mile. 11. Vardy has had his chance now. It's February. Think that will do for now.
The Guvnor Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I am left perplexed by Nigels team selection sometimes. Play a team like utd away from home you need the strongest midfield available which aint Drinky and King. Cambiasso comes on in the second and things in the middle start happening, he seems to get things arse about face, we play a stronger team when we are 3-0 down and find ourselves chasing the game,we actually 'won' the second half. Albrighton must start from now on, his crosses are quality and something Ulloa is crying out for. Nugent in fairness is capable of creating his own chances and was unlucky not to score.
Webbo Posted 31 January 2015 Author Posted 31 January 2015 We lose two in a row playing awfully and no difference to survival. The bottom seven should all be relegated, we're all turgid, inept shite. If we're only the fourth worst turgid inept shite I'll be happy.
theadmans Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 As bad as we played today - ironically we weren't that far away from getting a point. If Man U's first goal had been rightly call offside and Nugent had just flicked that ball an inch or so further away from De Gea' s outstretched hand (I would have put money on Nuge scoring). Would have been 2-2 and we'd all have been well happy (would have been undeserved as it happens but just sayin').
LCFCCKEANO Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 If he drops Wasyl for Huth and keeps Wes, I may just cry, and give up. Also, have been saying for months Albrighton should be played with Ulloa, it's obvious to all of us but Pearson. Not the end of the world, but NEED to win next week
Tuna Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I'm fed up with all the tactical and selection mistakes. We are crying our for a creative midfielder, while players who are clearly not up to it (King, Drinkwater, Vardy) continue to be picked. Kramaric was a pointless signing if we can't deliver the ball to him, he can't do anything without service. Albrighton has been consistent and deserves to be playing, yet the manager continues to overlook him. This is infuriating and illogical, I honestly cannot understand Pearson. Its hard enough to win points in this division without having the handicap of going into games with the wrong players and tactics, I cannot graps how he continues to get it wrong time after time, he never learns and his arrogance is beyond belief yet somehow he seems to be beyond reproach from some of the fans. Are you going to be singing 'One Nigel Pearson' in the game when our relegation is confirmed? I'm not sure Pearson even knows what the problems are let alone how to solve them. Lets hope there are some new signings in the next 48 hours, because make no mistake Palace is massive now, absolutely massive.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Yet another example of just how shoddy we are as a team. We lack pride and guts. Well done Pearson, and thanks for all your inspiration! You really haven't learnt a damn thing from this season!
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Best of a bad bunch. Vardy as a winger? And your 4-4-2 worked a treat. We've other wingers, one thing I'll doubt we'll disagree on is vardys inclusion out wide As Ive already told you five would of been fine today, away against top sides is a different matter. 4-4-2 is what we should be playing in general as recent results show. Most of our points have come from playing 4-4-2, our cup progression has come from 4-4-2. There really should be no debate other than if we an make it work without nugent another very good performance for him and cambiasso and you have the Gaul to question my judgement laughable. Don't put to much effort into the reply I know you won't be able to resist posting as I'm not going to read it got better things to do than argue with you all night tonight fortunately.
Haydos Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 2 days left to have a clear out. Then start building for the Championship 3 points off safety, bellend.
Corky Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 5 Live were praising Nugent when he played, good performance from him?

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Morgan (O.G) is the new Hammond (ankle)
Callabinho Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I give up with some of you lot.....how dare we lose 3-1 to lowly man united....
SecretPro Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I give up with some of you lot.....how dare we lose 3-1 to lowly man united.... That obviously isn't the point. The point is the performance. Win or Lose, it was simply rubbish. Even if you lose you want to show guts, determination and ability. It's like when these get called 'Bonus' games. This isn't a 'bonus' game. We are bottom of the league, there are no 'bonus' games.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 5 Live were praising Nugent when he played, good performance from him? He was alright. Problem is that unless Ulloa scores he is about as effective as putting an actual sack of shit up front.
Unabomber Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 What the actual fvck are you on about? We've lost away to the 3rd best side in the league, you clown. He is a troll and it is a shame, a great shame tbh.
weller54 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 James available next week.. Thank God... Is Mahrez back in time???
Guest Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Can Kram and Nuge play together? Fed by Albrighton. Camby and James back in Midfield preferably 2 new Backs to replace Simpson and Konch.
yorkie1999 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The whole problem is king. He can't defend he can't create and he can't attack. Absoluty useless pointless player.
Charl91 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 The lack of Albrighton always amazes me. He must be wondering what the **** he has to do to get into the team.
