I was just demonstrating why it is that people above me in this thread might have thought that you think you're always right. I even clearly said I'm not commenting on it.

As I said I'm done arguing with you now, there's no animosity in what I've posted but it's got a predictably nasty reply.

You're kinda stalking me. Stop being like a stalker and post some opinions of your own rather than looking to criticise. Then I'll be more civil to you. Too many of your posts look to criticise me in some way, or to take the piss, rather than expressing your own views on football matters. It's not a playground. Stop making it like such and trying to score brownie points.

There are quite a lot of people now saying they wouldn't start Cambiasso in that central midfield area.

Even Pearson, I think, is starting to doubt he should start. I guess we'll see on Saturday.

How the tide turns.

Most would probably have Vardy, Drinkwater, Moore starting as well, things change, players' form goes up and down, Cambiasso is just another player in the squad. It's not a big deal.

What point are you trying to prove?

Just because I've been right about most stuff this season, in my opinion, does that equate to always being right?

Of course not.

Move on and bother someone else with your crap.

Just so we can clarify... What is it exactly you have been right about this season?

if you can find anywhere that i have genuinely said cambiasso is currently world class (seriously, not just to wind you up) i'll be amazed tbh.

Ah the old col special, put something in speech marks to make it look like your quote, without offering up any evidence whatsoever. Use said "quote" to rubbish your view, then ignore any replies to the contrary.

And you wonder why I'm ignoring you?

I've told you before, I don't know how to multi-quote, and can't be bothered to learn.

You're ignoring me because you made a load of shit about about what I apparently said in the match thread. If you are going to accuse someone of saying something, I'd make sure you're right first.

No, I'm ignoring you because you are being antagonistic and were boring me during the match thread. Which was the point I was making in the match thread. The antagonism is continuing I see, and has done in other threads, I see.

The 'old col special' and 'flip flop'...used seemingly innocently, whereas in reality, posting in an antagonistic way. Not for the first time.

Antagonistic and Boring during the match thread... ha ha ha ha brilliant. Who replied to whom in the match thread first, I believe it was you with a snide little post. Where you didn't bother actually reading the post I was replying to, so you just decided your own meaning of what I said. I corrected you several times in the thread, in other threads also where you continued to post accusations about what I had said and via PM. All without reply or apology. So.... excuuuuuuse me for being antagonistic.

You do flip flop and the old col special was used correctly, because you just did in this thread, the exact same thing you did to me. I'll say it again, if you are going to accuse people of something I'd make sure you are damn well right. Otherwise you might antagonise people, and clearly you don't like people when they are antagonised as shown above.

I suggest you put me on ignore, because I really can't be arsed with you twisting my posts to suit your own "I'm always right" agenda.

Before you do put me on ignore Col... do answer this one, we're all interested.

Back to Albrighton.

Interesting..I've just tried to PM you with a reply, as you requested and it's been deleted, or not been sent?

Oh well, I did try.

I'll not put you on ignore Babs, I find most of what you write well worth reading, as I've often said.

Have a good day. I'll reply to the last point later.

How anyone can suggest Albrighton deserves to start ahead of Mahrez and Schlupp is beyond me. Mahrez is our best player by miles and Schlupp is having a good season.

Albrighton deserves to start ahead of Vardy on the wing obviously. But not Mahrez and Schlupp. Just no.

Posted

Not starting our best player in such an important game seems a duff move to me.

Sorry Jeff but I agree get them both in for this one. Schlupps pace off the bench will frighten the hell out of them.

Posted

Absolutely staggering to even suggest our best player shouldnt start! If Albrighton should have been starting whilst Mahrez was away and the only way he in my opinion can be in the team now Mahrez is back is with Schlupp dropping to left back.

Albrighton on right, Mahrez on left. Schlupp in left back. Konch and de laet as bench cover. said this for a while.

For me, that's clear as crystal. For others, it ain't.

It's because Schlupp is not a very good left back, he got terribly exposed in that position in the championship let alone the prem. I would play Paul Konchesky there for this game as it is imperative that we have someone who can defend, yes his distribution is doggo and his attacking threat is limited but we can leave that to our attacking players. We shouldn't play Jeff at LB just to accommodate all of our best attacking players as that would be redundant when Jeff is torn a new one and we lose.

Fair enough mate. I just don't agree. I think Schlupp is every bit as good as Konch at LB. And he gives us pace on the overlap. We'll see what Nigel does I guess.

He'll probably play Vardy again.

He won't. Well, I'll be amazed and shocked if he does. He has played Vardy out wide in our two last games, that's all. Both games were away games - tough away games too - and so I can see where he's coming from in terms of using Vardy's pace out wide on the counter attack. Many managers do it, look at Welbeck when he was at Manchester United.

I'd imagine, now we're at home again he'll revert back to two wingers. Schlupp and Albrighton (and/or Mahrez if he's back) which is what we had been playing prior to the Tottenham game.

Posted

schlupp looked completely clueless as a left back when we were playing teams like ipswich and watford. if we play him at left back (having been our best attacking outlet over the last month) we've completely lost the plot and are asking to go down.

Having said that, imagine if he has improved.

We all must surely agree Schlupp has improved massively this season. Who's to say he won't be better at left back than he Was last season? I wouldn't mind seeing him there. Anyone but Konchesky or right footed de Laet
