What have Burnley got to do? I was going to say. Villa play Burnley at home on the final day, and if it were to be a relegation show down, I know which team I'd be putting money on.

We do show flashes of our potential but a lot of the time we look absolute dog turd. You could argue we were showing 'signs of improvement' at one point but the last 2 games have nipped that in the bud because we've been awful again. The Stoke result was a big blow. I was extremely annoyed when pundits said we were going down at the start of the season and QPR weren't, for example, we didn't and don't have the worst squad in the league, but now it's fair to say we're in big trouble. I understand people sticking up and fighting the corner for the team they support and defending them but I think people need to take a step back and take of the blue tinted glasses, people are quick to slag QPR, Burnley e.t.c off (Villa is justified, they're dogshit, but they're still above us).

I don't think we are the worst side, we have a great set of fixtures towards the end of the season and I think we will do enough to overturn the three point deficit...

I have a feeling it could well be more than 3 points we have to make up after Arsenal, Everton and Man city away. Anything other than a win Saturday will really put us in the doggy mess....
buzzy Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I'm still not convinced even now that experience is our problem - considering it's often been the likes of Konchesky for example who have let us down yet Mahrez, absolutely no top flight experience in any country, has looked our best player. We have failed as a lot of pundits said we would but not for the reasons they've said I don't think.
