Guest LCFC_World Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Owners told harry redknapp they would pay him 3X his QPR wages if he resigns and comes to us you heard it here first
An Away Move Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 It's the right timing for me. I supported Pearson all the way up until yesterday. The touchline incident pointed towards a man who had lost it. The team selection was also odd, despite how well Nugent played. We haven't been sticking goals in the net and then we only play Kramaric for a small part of the game and so deep. No.I think out owners are showing ambition. It would have been safer to keep him if they had been resigned to going down. This move shows fight.
CollinsLCFC Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I dont think many people can argue that this was not on the cards. I'm not saying it should of happened, but I could see it coming. Although, I agree that Pearson was not performing well and at the end of the day, we can not rely on loyalty and a change was due. However, this has been left so late. Who will want to come now? We will bring in an emergency appointment (god knows who), most likely to get relegated now based on team moral alone. I think the James McArthur incident was the perfect scapegoat for a reason to give him the boot, especially after the recent fvck off an die quote. I feel bad for Pearson. He did a fantastic job last season, and a lot of people on here dont just give a straight opinion on him, they harsh and act like he killed someones kid. Its hard times, but at the end of the day, this season was not going to be easy. Lets keep the faith and give our best support to the team on Tuesday.
Corky Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Surprised by the timing given the transfer window has shut, but results and performances on the whole in the last four months haven't been good enough. Hope they've got someone lined up.
Steven Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Has he? We haven't been in the Premier League for a DECADE. Seriously, Pearson was right, absolute delusions of grandeur. Delusions of his own grandeur. 17% win rate in the PL.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I really don't get it. If we were to go down, (and i fully think we will now) then Pearson would have been the best man to get us back up. Martin O'Niel for me. ONE NIGEL PEARSON THERES ONLY ONE NIGEL PEARSON ONE NIGEL PEARSON THERES ONLY ONE NIGEL PEARSON LETS AIR THIS AGAINST VILLA AND ARSENAL.
johnny the fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Time will tell on all this...but I have got a feeling he will do no good anywhere else..
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Like most of our players Pearson is NOT a Premiership manager. .... after 6 months in the job. Ok.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Fact is we're bottom of the league and we don't look like turning it round. I admire Nigel and am very appreciative of everything he has done for the club. but this certainly doesn't come as a shock and the owners have made their decision so that's that. struggling to think who we could get in.
MHC Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Awful decision. **** this club. P#ss off to PearsonTalk then!
One Legged Beaver Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 My only memories are post MON, therefore Nige is pretty much the only manager to give me any pride over a prolonged period of time in the club. Devastated by this but I guess it's understandable from the owner's point of view. Wish Nige the best in the future, and hope he gets a huge reception on his next visit to the KP!
Finnaldo Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 P#ss off to PearsonTalk then! So who do you want in then?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 As depressing is the fact we'll loose Steve Walsh as well, the person behind bringing Knocky, Riyad, Kramaric to the club.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm literally gutted. What you've been cut open and your stomach pulled out? That puts Pearson's sacking in perspective!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Thank you God! Too bloody late, this should been done ages ago, and Pulis should have been brought in. However the board has seen sense at last. but someone will have to work wonders, to save us from relegation. thanks to Pearson. He was ok at Championship level, but was NEVER going to cut it at this level, despite the views of some of the mugs on this site. I'll say thank you to him for what he did last season for us, however. Perhaps the club can now move forward into a new era, but I suspect it will have to be, from back in the Championship.
Pasty1 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Bet Stringers laughing..... Disgraceful nonsense decision. Who on Earth will want to come here now. Absolutely nothing to do with Throttle Gate either. He won't be out of work long - trust me!
stuartn27 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We need a miracle to stay up Let's build for next season.never been a Pearson fan. Should have been sacked before Christmas He's a good championship manager but premier league out of his depth No game plan b or c
