MHC Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 So who do you want in then? Who do I want? Roberto Di Matteo Who will we get? Neil Lennon
RowlattsFox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Cardiff were midtable, hardly comparable. It's worked out for other clubs but you don't mention them. We're cardiff ever mid table? I was talking more about how they've fared this season after changing their manager.
lee7 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Didn't think we'd actually sack him (although i thought he shouldve gone when we were bottom at christmas) Ill always respect the bloke for what he's done for our club! We've had way more highs than lows with him in charge, he led us to two division titles and built us up from pretty much nothing at the time he first took over. Good luck for the future Nige.
lestajigs Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The owners are idiots. I would have never want Nigel sacked and it's even more nonsensical that they sack him with no adequate replacement out there. Nigel was a good manager and a thoroughly decent man who the players played for and looked up to. Madness. Are you joking?? ****ing hell, look at the forest owner!! Tbf our owners are one of the best
weller54 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We're only making plans for Nigel.. Ooooooo Oooooooo...
Mark Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The owners are idiots. I would have never want Nigel sacked and it's even more nonsensical that they sack him with no adequate replacement out there. Nigel was a good manager and a thoroughly decent man who the players played for and looked up to. Madness. We wouldn't be here without them, or Pearson. But what can they do, sit back and do nothing? May as well try something else their 3 year plan has failed.
lavrentis Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 we'd have stayed up under nige which is the saddest thing
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Don't understand the timing of this at all. If we were serious about staying up he should have been sacked after the Villa game. Now we've wasted 2 winnable home games and have ditched the best manager we've had in a generation. Yep, and the worst manager in the Premiership.
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 He delivered two league championships, two second tier play off campaigns and sorted out the mess the previous managers left behind. He turned our club around. He deserved better than this and he deserved better than some of you ungrateful fans. I don't know what you expect, we're Leicester City not Manchester City.
inckley fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We spent around 10 million on a player who the next manager may not even play. What is up with the timing? Although I didnt want him to be sacked, I can understand the decision but the timing is unreal Our manager didn't play him either.
dogadug Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We're only making plans for Nigel.. Ooooooo Oooooooo... Give it a rest mate
Collibosher70 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 thanks nige....right who's gonna save us..mancini..lennon..or cambiasso temp
BlueSi13 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Who do I want? Roberto Di Matteo Who will we get? Neil Lennon The same Di Matteo who is currently managing Shalke? Next. Also, what is with the Lennon thing? What has he done to suggest he'll do a job here? Clutching at straws.
lavrentis Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I wonder what Kramaric is thinking now.. maybe chelsea wasn't a bad option after all
Guest Kopfkino Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I hope he comes back, because of unfinished busines next year, to win us the championship again
Mark_w Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We wouldn't be here without them, or Pearson. But what can they do, sit back and do nothing? May as well try something if they have a plan. We wouldn't be here without Nigel, the majority of the owners money prior to this season went on average Championship players signed by the crappy appointment they made before Pearson. They've made one good decision in their time here, appointing Pearson, and that's it.
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Players will be gutted. I hope they are because they let him down.
DMU Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm gutted that he's gone, angry that some so called fans are celebrating his sacking, and confused at the timing of it. We'd better have a replacement lined up but i bet we don't. It was a shambles when we sacked Sven and it took us weeks to get Nige in then. Cheers for the memories Nige, cheers for last year, cheers for restoring pride in supporting us. Every full year you've had has been enjoyable. What a mess we have made out of this season.
m4DD0gg Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Haha some folk on here acting like they have been dumped by their first true love. When you lose a manager like MON thats when it really hurts when you have seen european nights and made Wembley your second home, lifted silverware and established as a premiership team. Fair play to the owners and i suspect 'throttlegate' has a lot to do with the sudden decision, remember we are not their charity, they run a global brand and when one of the figure heads of said global brand is caught telling supporters to **** off and die, come across as an arrogant prat on every media outlet going and then 'jokingly' strangles a player in front of a global audience and then to come out with to the press 'i can handle myself'.....it would test your patience. As for the players 'playing' for him and not the club, what scrap of evidence supports that, i suspect a fair few of them (knockeart, albrighton) who will be jumping for joy.
filbertway Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 As has been said, odd timing, the incident yesterday must have played a part. Thanks for all the memories and getting the club on a stable footing. Will always have fond memories of your time in charge. Kind of excited to see who we can actually get in. Be interesting to see who takes charge thats for sure. I have a feeling it will he a relatively unheard of or unexpected replacement.
nettle Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Pearson has done a great job over the years but I honestly think he's not or ever will be a premiership manager. Let's all get behind the new guy who ever it is onwards and upwards.
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Ridiculous timing. If it's something you are remotely considering he should have gone months ago. Thank you for restoring pride in this club, not once, but twice. The managerial merry go round starts again, no doubt the next person will be wanted out after a few months like Nigel was.
