MC Prussian Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I've been a season ticket holder since 1996 and have the right to cry. I've cried more tears than you've attended matches, son. I've supported this club long before I was born so see you all, suckers.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 That's just it all the Pearson lovers are teen spotty chavs who this is the best they've seen.peter Taylor was better than this kids.dont believe the tripe. George Mcfly, talking about spotty teenagers, love it
Guest Kopfkino Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 How can he so that.? He doesn't have pearsons phone number. Wow the level of wit on here astounds me
Frost Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 The divide this has caused amongst fans is quite incredible. Just back the team if nothing else. The way some anti-Pearson fans are going on you'd think the Nazi party has been elected in Britain.

They cause most of insufferable arguements and insults.
Unabomber Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Have you been a fan long enough? Yeah started following when we went down to league one. Not missed a game since.
Guest MattP Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Is it just me that fines it funnier when it has to be explained Nope The way Babs does it is brilliant as well. Explains it like he's speaking to a child which I know Col hates as he's made a point of being about 50 when accused him of being 15.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I feel like people are beginning to subtly mock those who genuinely did cry last night. I feel like crying again. wouldn't have happened in shilton's day you poof
Corky Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Yeah started following when we went down to league one. Not missed a game since. Nowhere near long enough. You have to at least remember Arthur Chandler playing.
MC Prussian Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 What about the staunch Pearson people on here. They cause most of insufferable arguements and insults. It's "Pearson lovers". How many times do I have to tell you that! Now you write that term 100 times on the chalkboard or no breakfast for you tomorrow.

Unabomber Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Its Pearsonites ffs I thought we were the Pear-sons.
Mark_from_USA Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 This place is just fractal. People just keep dividing, dividing, and dividing some more. Now we're divided over Lineker, Pearson, the owners, relegation vs survival, you name it.
Guest MattP Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 And like Unabomber said, of course many tears were shed last night and Rob Dorsett will be receiving an extremely strongly worded letter from me very shortly in regards to his journalistic abilities. Sky Sports also have a lot of making up to do, I know a guy who beat up his Mrs last night on hearing the news, are they going to pay his court fees and her medical costs? I should hope so.

inckley fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Every one of them may have happened but your slant on each of them paints the picture of someone who has a certain perspective of him. If you can't see that then you aren't looking very hard. You've read a quote saying he was scared but not the one that says there was nothing in it and that it will get blown up out of proportion. You can read all manner of subtext and context into the written word but the only people who will really know are the two people involved who said there was nothing in it. My perspective is that he's not doing a good job. How daft of me to give a load of perfectly accurate instances of him not doing a good job. Like I say, he's been a good manager and he has a lot of respect from me for that (look at my posts when people didn't want him back in 2011, or wanted him gone in 2012, or in early 2013). If a player says he's scared (even if he says anything else to the contrary), and a manager is pictured with his arms round his throat and clinging on to his shirt, then says 'I can look after myself' when asked about it, after which every national newspaper and internet news provider in the land reports it as major news, then it would be a massive oversight for Match of the Day not to discuss it. Or maybe that's a totally ridiculous notion.

Or maybe that's a totally ridiculous notion. That's your prerogative and I respect that. I don't agree but its perfectly reasonable. I feel that Pearson is doing much more than managing the first team and removing him now would destabilize the work going on behind the scenes. So I'm happy to overlook a few learning curves for the long term future.

Or maybe that's a totally ridiculous notion. This isn't a discussion anymore I'm afraid inckley. This is Chapter One, verse 1 of the Gospel according to Pearson. In the beginning there was Col (but your slant is of him having a spat with the local radio, no balance to that argument of the local radio presenter behaving like a plank, telling a fan to f off, no mention of that fan's behaviour either etc. Etc. See where I'm heading? You're entitled to think he's not.doing a good enough job but using these things as a stick to beat the bloke with without balance isn't right in my book)

Now we're divided over Lineker, Pearson, the owners, relegation vs survival, you name it. It's amazing that one man can divide us over Gary Lineker (arguably our best ever player, and who spearheaded a successful campaign at personal cost, to keep our club in existence only 12 years ago), our own fans, our owners and whether or not we should stay up. And it's not a good sign.
