There's a reason nobody plays a flat back five behind a four man standard midfield. This is just braindead. I don't understand how a professional, one of the supposedly twenty best tacticians plying his trade in this country of a population of millions, can think this is going to lead to anything other than a loss. We've gotten results when we've had some bottle and gone out for them. So have Burnley and the other shit teams. We just roll over and let teams attack us, we'll lose unless they just have a terrible day. I'm utterly lost.

EGBFitness Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Looks like we're going to be chasing shadows the whole game by the looks of it. Our anticipation and movement really is worrying sometimes! How easy it is to turn Cambiasso is a joke! He has been turned at least 3 times so far just in this game with the most basic of drop of a shoulder and jog away. If Pearson wants to play 5 at the back and 1 up front he needs a CM pairing that will have the speed & stamina to support defensively and attacking- Cambiasso blatantly hasn't got the legs, something I said would be the case when we signed him in the summer
