LanguedocFox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Your immaturity has been revealed by the nonsensical argument you put forward. True supporters give a shit about the team winning. Telling a die hard fan of over 35 years to go and support the Florist in response to some critcism is sure fire way of declaring yourself to be a ********. I'm not interested in getting into a p!ssing contest with someone who slags of City with every post, but I was supporting City probably before you were born.
George mcfly Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Losing at home to West Brom, Palace and Stoke etc means you have to go to places like Everton sneak 3 points especially 2-1 up with 3 minutes to go. Take the point and hope we're in touch come the Hull game, lose that and it probably is curtains Exactly 2 points against Everton is a good return it's the 0 against palace west brom and all the other dropped points at home against the lesser teams.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Unfortunately we seem to be perfectly capable of adapting our performances to within a goal of every opponent we play. The consistency just isn't there and that's why we'll get relegated. We might win a couple of games 1-0 against the sides around us but we'll lose more because we won't replicate performances of this level often enough. All season we've been putting in decent displays against the "bigger" clubs and weak ones against the strugglers. Annoyingly, I also find it difficult to disagree with that! Just lately though, we're diabolical at home but seem to take the gloves off away. We've beaten Hull away this season, came within a hair's breadth of beating Everton today and beat Stoke in September. Perhaps the fact we have Sunderland, West Brom and Burnley away will actually help us a bit. Hull will be very tough as they seem to have hit a vein of form lately, but QPR are utter bobbins on their travels. That's a winnable fixture.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Here we go again. Same old story, If,if,if. We had a good chance of three points, and bottled it yet again. Still, one point is better than none.
shailen Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Great spirit by the team today, and probably the fair result on reflection. We could have won, they could have won. Our defending was laughable at times, the number of times Upson or Konchesky played their forwards onside could have costed us more, but Lukaku was fortunately hopeless for them. MOTM is either Cambiasso or Morgan. They were both magnificient from my point of view. Vardy and Nugent looked energetic when they came on too.
hejammy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 glad someone else saw that, knew there'd be tons of people in here blaming nige for that decision costing us the game. esteban cambiasso was the best player on the pitch by miles, Huth was so solid (crew) it was great to see. Vardy and nuge turned the game somehow and we were unlucky not to win. everton were awful as I knew they would be as they have been all season, we had a blatant pen for handball too. hope everyone puttin their life savings on everton enjoys sleeping rough tonight. retards. Sorry but that was not a blatant penalty, the defender had his arms by his side and hit him with speed on his arm whilst his arms were still straight by his side. They have been given before but no penalty for me.
Corky Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 That "pen" was basically the same as Simpson's at Anfield and everybody was outraged about it. Both fall into the "harsh but seen them given" category - personally I'd give neither. Agreed, wasn't a penalty. Coleman's arm was in a natural position.
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Positives- Vardy showed great pace and determination, put over a difficult cross to defend. Very composed to not lash at the ball at goal, wait and play Cambiasso in. James and Cambiasso linked well today Nugent had a decent cameo and helped out defensively. Morgan was blocking well, Huth looks a good signing. We looked good going forward and neat on the ball. Negatives- Schlupp had two great chances and should've buried at least one Too many times we were caught out by the ball over the top Konchesky fell asleep a few times, Simpson not great again Mahrez didn't affect the game as he usually does Really soft first goal to give away Draw was probably fair but doesn't help our cause a huge amount. Enjoyed us on the ball, very concerned off it with the space afforded to the opposition. Spot on
JAPANFOX1 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Did you join FT just to slag off City? Like I say. There's a team 25 miles up the A60 you'd really like. Fvck off and support the Trees I support the team and the club NOT the manager. If you are happy with this season then it is your loyalties that should be questioned. Before your mother calls you down for dinner, please explain how "Fvck of and support the Trees" works in the context of this debate.

Babylon Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 As soon as someone mentions how long they've supported leicester it should be an instant ban!
st albans fox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Strange that Hammond wasnt available on the bench Cambiasso asked to come off five mind before we hooked him Not convinced AK was a better option than DD at that point Problem we faced was once ahead, we had no balance relating to five at the back. Nuge and vardy are not comfortable in those roles and with two in the midfield, we invited runners from midfield past our static back three. I never felt we would see it out as we dropped deeper and deeper. Sods law it was an og. Of course Everton probably deserved something but how often have we ?? Anyway- it stops the rot. Pick up points away and win our home games - has to be the mantra now. 5 wins and three draws from 12 remaining. We can lose 4 (city and chelsea probably bankers ). If we get a deserved point at Everton we can just about do this . Strongly odds against but still possible.
ADK Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Someone ban this child. That's a ridiculous comment. I usually support Pearson but I really wasn't impressed today. I think Everton were there for the taking and we got just about everything wrong. His body language was awful too. The 5 at the back is completely pointless because it leaves us short going forward and made no improvement in our defensive strength. Upson is too slow to play at this level, it's been evident in all his appearances, he was a liability. We were gifted all of our chances by some awful goalkeeping by Tim Howard and yet we never looked like closing the game out. Lukaku really should be celebrating a hat trick. We should have taken a striker off and brought King on as soon as the score was 2-1. It was so infuriating watching us carved open through the middle so often. When we played the football that we should have been playing from the start and closed down and attacked with pace we looked threatening. We'll have to keep the manager but we really need an injection of confidence and the hopeless negative tactics don't help. We will likely be 7 points from safety the next time we play against Manchester City.
seenitall Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Setting up defensively with a rubbish set of defenders does seem a bit of a naff tactic - we look way better when we attack and we haven't really had a midfield this season SOOO I am going to suggest if NP is here for the last 12 that he throws his caution to the wind, plays four at the back (Huth and Was Schlupp and Simpson) gets Kaspar back or gives Ben another game or two and then goes with Camb, James and KIng with Kram Ulluoa and Mahrez as a front line - can sub Nuge and Vards when they get tired and keep the energy up for 90 mins. We may let more in but at least we might score some

buzzy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 We drew 2-2 against a team that's in the Europa League. We did well - and we have 12 games left. that's 36 points to play for. Like I say, go and support Florist. whats the point speaking to toss pots like you

Fox on the edge Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 As soon as someone mentions how long they've supported leicester it should be an instant ban!I've supported Leicester since this afternoon
Bettsj2 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Yes Lukaku missed chances but Jeff could have had a hat trick too if he wasnt so shit. Overall you have to be happy with an away point but conceding so close to the end is always going to bring more negative feeling than positive. I think the 5-4-1 is best to go with away. We're not good enough to have just 2 centre backs which is depressing in itself. We're going to go down as nearly men winning many admirers. Any other expectation is just delusional.
Socks Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 As soon as someone mentions how long they've supported leicester it should be an instant ban! Ive supported city for 105 years

smudger63 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 A decent performance, but gutted as i am that we didn`t win, i thought the draw was the fair result, given the amount of chances they had. Cambiasso was class and ran the show for us, sadly though, our defence is rubbish. Normally would be happy with a point at Everton, but we need wins, and so today was a big opportunity missed. Felt sorry for Kramaric, who ran his heart out with little support for the most part. In the end, the facts don`t lie, and we have now got just 10 points from the last 63, and that is simply not good enough, if we harbour any real hopes of staying up.
FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Good draw i guess, fair result, but the problem is draws isnt going to keep us up. And thought i would never say this but Vardy and Nugent changed the game
