filbertway Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 I would rather play him on the pitch right now. Maybe not start him, but definitely bring him on as a substitute. It couldn't hurt to give him a chance. I don't disagree with you in that regard, as he clearly has no immediate role to play for the team though it's more beneficial for all parties involved that he goes and gets game time.
ozvaldo Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He should be in our starting 11 with Konch out and Schlupp LWB in my opinion. Shame, but good luck to him if he goes.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Dyer mk 2 and Albrighton as wingers in the Championship is "depressing"?? If we can hold on to Ulloa and Kramaric, that's as good an attacking lineup as you'll see in a second-tier league... Posted before that Ulloa is in a house on a rolling contract and is expected to be out in the summer (house is on the market and if sold the new owner takes him on as a short term tennant) Kramaric is onlty commited to his flat until the summer. May mean bugger all but they are not being held here for that reason.

ImBlue Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Are you an estate agent? Why? do you need a house?
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Are you an estate agent? No, but I know the properties very well, can't really say more. Fairly close to each other and Cambiasso is in a (understandably in his case) similar situation and also lives very close to them. Not really the Leicester ties as there used to be and this includes guys that have come through the acadamy.

We won't sell unless we can recoup the money we spent on them, is my guess.
Number 6 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Not as good as Mahrez or Schlupp on the wings but wouldn't mind him in the no 10 role for a go. Kramaric likes to drop deep though and fill that role so there's probably no place for him at the moment. It's a shame because I love the guy. He is fun to watch. It's a results driven business now but having a player in the side who might pull out a scorpion kick was great while it lasted. Would love him to stick around next season but, with his contract up and lack of game time this season, I think he'll move on to pastures new.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 We won't know if he can cut it at another prem club but this does have a bit of a Max Gradel about it. I don't think Pearson gets the best out of his players and would love Knockaert to do well at Ipswich albiet in a different league. Pearson obviously has his favourites and if you fall off that list your fooked.
tommyh Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Absolute ****ing joke!!!! Not even given a fair chance in the prem!! cannot believe Pearsons handling of him this season. But still ****ing Jeff Schlupp will be starting in midfield. Another one that got away! Knockaert will be playing at a much higher level than Leicester City in 2/3 years time! open youre ****ing eyes Nige!
Babylon Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Come on; if you're going to throw that kind of comment about please do your research Appearances this season, in all competitions, whether starting or off the bench. Knockaert- 11 Albrighton- 10 Lawrence- 3 Powell- 3 So how EXACTLY does that constitute giving TL and NP and MA more of a chance than AK? Well that pissed on their chips didn't it.
psychonaut Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 I just can't fathom out why Knockaert hasn't been used more this season. His lack of pace is a big problem but in this 5-4-1 formation he'd be very influential behind the striker. It's certainly a better option to have from the bench if we're chasing a game than some of the other players Nigel cobbles together. Such a sad end to his career here. He disrespected the Don NP with his mistranslated comments to a french journo so that was the end of his career here. He couldve been used on many many occasions this season especially in the last 25 mins - and still could be. Albrighton will be next.

Finnegan Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 My barber will be losing a client but he'll still have Riyad.

'mistranslated' there's your problem (amongst other things, probably).
ImBlue Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 As I've said before, we will miss him when we have to break teams down next season. That's when schlupp goes from excellent prospect, back to donkey.
foxtillidrop Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Gutted. One of the few players to show any real passion and connect with the fans. A massive part of the promotion winning campaign. Could tell how much promotion meant to him and this season has gone down for him like a lead balloon. Nothing against Andy King but I don't get how Andy King walks in to the squad week in - week out and the likes of Knockaert don't get a look in. The one game where Knockaert starts (at home against Aston Villa) we get 3 points.
psychonaut Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Lmao you have absolutely no idea what you're on about. and is that all you have to add?
Babylon Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 and is that all you have to add? To be fair it's all he had to add.

When Pearson left both kramaric and ulloa on the bench? Clueless.

True about the Villa game. It was a bit odd that Albrighton and Knockaert were promptly put back on the bench after what was a decent performance from both of them. I would have expected one of them to stake a claim for a starting place.
