Our wingers are So great at this level eh?

Albrighton,Moore,Knocky,Hammond all young players slowly destroyed by Pearsons ego.....

Time you changed your avatar from Pearson holding his champagne bottle to one of a wooden spoon pal!!!

Albrighton was released by Villa so I think that sums up more people than Pearson probably don't rate him.

Moore lost his place in the Championship because Wasyl is simply better.

Albrighton destroyed by Pearson? He was on loan at Wigan last year FFS. Moore had penty of chances and was worse than bloody Morgan, Knockaert is slower than me and Hammond is about 32.

These players are all fantastic what's wrong with you Pearson signed most of them how can they be rubbish.

Albrighton - agree

Moore - simply worse than Wasyl so rightly dropped

Knocky - just not good enough for the PL, too slow and gives the ball away too much.

Hammond - he's 31.

Just one more who can't cut it at this level. If Ipswich get promoted, then they will send him back, but hopefully he will be off to someone like Leeds.

are you a manic depressive? not read one post from you that isn't cynical, pessimistic and generally full of crap.

The only one signed for the premier league was Albrighton, you don't know if he was seen as a starter or a squad player... which he's been.

My guess is that Pearson's issue with Albrighton is ball retention, which is particularly important in the Premier League. What Albrighton is good at is beating his man and getting a decent cross in. What he is less good at is retaining possession. How often does he retain possession and pass inside? I can imagine NP thinking: if this bloke plays 90 mins regularly, he's going to end up losing possession a lot and inviting pressure on our defence....whereas, used selectively off the bench, he'll create chances.

Moore and Hammond have both played a role this season. Moore was a regular starter until his form dipped, he became a liability and was dropped Wasyl improved the defence. Not Moore's fault, necessarily; he's young for a centre back and new to this level, so may be playing regularly in the Premier in a couple of years time.

Hammond has played more than I expected - and has generally justified his selection when he has. He's an experienced pro who's done a good job as a defensive midfielder, but arguably lacks the creativity to start every week.

When Knocky's played this season, he hasn't completely embarrassed himself and now retains possession a bit better (obviously paying more attention in training than 1-2 years ago). But he's not been capable of the creativity and penetration that he was in the Championship...hence why he's being loaned back there. If another Premier League manager had disagreed with NP's assessment, surely Knocky would have moved to another Premier League club in January (transfer or loan)?

Only the keepers and Wood have a worse pass success rate, I was going to mention it myself yesterday but thought to be fair, he is asked to get crosses in and most of the time they are going to be headed away.

Knockaert just isn't good enough for a team in our position who have to counter attack quickly because with our lack of quality we can barely hold on to the ball for longer than 5 minutes. He's far too slow and takes an age to do anything with the ball unlike Mahrez and Schlupp.

That's the same with quite a few people on here unfortunately.

Well done to Pearson for making yet another cock up. Next we'll see him selling off players one by one until only his personal favourites are left. That's the way to do it. Will turn us into a train wreck at the rate he's going.

Has Pearson cut it at this level? He certainly looks more out of his depth than knockaert

I completely agree with you there, Pearson is well out of his depth, as was always going to be the case, before the season kicked off. Massive error by the board, imo.

L-o-l

Give it a rest

Again, I don't understand how people think he's out of his depth, when he hasn't really had a chance this season. He is, and probably always will be, a much better player than Schlupp, who gets a regular start.

Dos make me laugh and I'm sure it's mostly the pro Pearson lot who are saying so and so arnt good enough, while not featuring much ie Liam Moore, where Pearson who as featured every game (unfortunately) is deemed to be irreplaceable.crazy talk mixed in with hypocrisy.side note.this trump as full flavour behaviour.

Albrighton is a fitness and stamina issue. He's about 25th in the squad for his overall fitness - that comes from a chat with his Dad - and Pearson doesn't think he can last a full 90. Yes he's got a fantastic cross but it's about all he's got. Villa weren't exactly desperate to keep him.

Moore - has been gash this season. Responsible for about 4 or 5 goals through losing a man or poor positioning early in the season. Morgan gets all sorts of stick on here but "One Of Our Own" has been responsible for more goals.

Knocky - I'd have liked to have seen him play more instead of Schlupp but he's become like Marmite. There's an element on here that would never play him, others would have him as the first name.

Hammond - isn't young and if you play Hammond it means dropping James or Cambiasso.

You can give Pearson stick for all sorts of things but most of the above are just differing opinions, not glaring mistakes.

Here he is to save the day! It's Captain Hindsight! If only we'd listened to him in August, he knew better all along.

Your abit too slow in making my above statement look gash as Babylon(as usual) beat you to it about 12 hours earlier!!!!

However i would say NP has "destroyed" Ulloa!

He's turned him into our record aquasition(before Krammy) who could score goals into someone who now cant get a game...Well Done Pearson!!!

(Suppose someone is gonna justify why HE TOO is Crap all of a sudden!!!)

So is it official or?

I was just wondering that, or did someone make something up and then it's used a stick to beat Pearson with for the next 872 comments

Just so we know... could you give us a full list of his favourites.
