smudger63 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He really won't, he just isn't that good. Classic case of a fans favourite out the side this, ridiculous levels of exaggeration of his actual ability. One decent game against an awful Villa side, every other appearance he's looked nowhere near the level required. Same could maybe levelled at Vardy, who has had a far greater chance to prove himself. Man Utd at home, and a brief cameo yesterday apart, he has been woefull this season.
gazfox9 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Gutted to see him go. To not even name him amongst 7 subs in win-able games is madness for me.
Clever Fox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 A decent player but not physically strong enough for the Prem. Going to a very good manager in Ma Carthy who no doubt will get the best out of him.
Rob1742 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Anthony is a great lad, and one of the most talented and enjoyable players I have seen down here for many a year. He has scored some wonderful goals and has entertained the crowd more than any other player. With regards to us being a springboard to a bigger club, that was complete rubbish and something he distanced himself from as a comment. He's genuinely a lovely guy, you can't wish to meet anyone nicer and I really wish him the best of luck. I just hope he comes back and returns to us next season. There aren't many that has scored goals like him and there ain't many that are the character of him. He's ace, will miss him at LCFC
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Just one more who can't cut it at this level. If Ipswich get promoted, then they will send him back, but hopefully he will be off to someone like Leeds.
Fox92 Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Started at the start of the season too. Likeable guy, good player for us in the second tier. Wish he had more pace.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 We need a starting 15 with the amount of players who 'should' be playing this season. I don't think Knockaert would have made much of a difference this season, maybe the potential of scoring from range. Hope he goes and does well.
Raj Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Pearson has destroyed the career of a possible terrace hero. Well done nigel
Raj Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 Just one more who can't cut it at this level. If Ipswich get promoted, then they will send him back, but hopefully he will be off to someone like Leeds. How many HAVE cut it at this level? And what chance has he had???
I blame Wellens Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 What player in the current team do you have the same affection for? I loved Knocky, It's a real shame. We need a hero in that team and we need him bloody quick.
cullenfox Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 With Knockaert going, it'll be interesting to see which of our other promising and talented players go. Pearson will probably just pick a name out of a hat. Seems to be the only way he's picking players.
eunmac Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He should be in our starting 11 with Konch out and Schlupp LWB in my opinion. Been wishing for that for ages. The one combination NP hasn't tried.

buzzy Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 He really won't, he just isn't that good. Classic case of a fans favourite out the side this, ridiculous levels of exaggeration of his actual ability. One decent game against an awful Villa side, every other appearance he's looked nowhere near the level required. but how the hell does schlupp still get in the side as 3 good games this season cannot control football and not much else and gets ahead of albighton. rather have anthony in the squad .
Swiss_tony Posted 23 February 2015 Posted 23 February 2015 people seem to have forgotten his 'performance' and i use that word loosely against shrewsbury where he couldn't be bothered. good player in the champ, not good enough for the prem. another one to add to the list.
AS78UK Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Hope we hold onto him as going to need his creativity next year especially if as expected Mahrez has gone.
Steven Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 How many HAVE cut it at this level? And what chance has he had??? Yet Nigel still believes in them and still picks them.
Stadt Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 How about he's not actually that good as a footballer? Instead of being too weak or too slow. His final product is rarely there and his decision making is poor.
Babylon Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 How about he's not actually that good as a footballer? Instead of being too weak or too slow. His final product is rarely there and his decision making is poor. Yeah but that would mean not being able to moan at Pearson.
nettle Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 How about he's not actually that good as a footballer? Instead of being too weak or too slow. His final product is rarely there and his decision making is poor. You've just described Konchesky there whens he going out on loan.
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 You've just described Konchesky there whens he going out on loan. When we get a new left back.
Ollie93 Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 A lot of people saying on here that he wasn't good enough for this league, how can you judge that on 3 games? Where as the likes of Vardy, Nugent, Morgan have had 10+ games to prove their worth and they haven't? Another reason is that he isn't quick enough, Ulloa, Kramaric, Konchesky? All slow? My point is, I believe with proper management, and some game time, he definitely had the talent to make a difference. Its been poor managerially from Nige.
AKCJ Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 Pearson has destroyed the career of a possible terrace hero. Well done nigel He's a young, 4th choice winger going out on loan. Get a grip for **** sake.
Raj Posted 24 February 2015 Posted 24 February 2015 He's a young, 4th choice winger going out on loan. Get a grip for **** sake. Our wingers are So great at this level eh? Albrighton,Moore,Knocky,Hammond all young players slowly destroyed by Pearsons ego..... Time you changed your avatar from Pearson holding his champagne bottle to one of a wooden spoon pal!!!

Time you changed your avatar from Pearson holding his champagne bottle to one of a wooden spoon pal!!! Albrighton destroyed by Pearson? He was on loan at Wigan last year FFS. Moore had penty of chances and was worse than bloody Morgan, Knockaert is slower than me and Hammond is about 32.
