6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 7 March 2015 Posted 7 March 2015 Roger Milford, especially for his performance in the Derby play off final in 94. Think it may have been his final game.
Carl the Llama Posted 7 March 2015 Posted 7 March 2015 Pigueria Collina- did you knew he modelled for Armani? Unfortunately his name is Pierluigi, but I'd like permission to use your new word for a book I'm planning on writing about a freedom fighter who rides into battle on a pig.
Vlad the Fox Posted 7 March 2015 Posted 7 March 2015 Roger Milford, especially for his performance in the Derby play off final in 94. Think it may have been his final game. Yep, Milford for me.
shailen Posted 7 March 2015 Posted 7 March 2015 Not sure if we reffed any of our games, but always liked Howard Webb. Always seemed to get the big decisions right and seemed like he was always in control

TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 March 2015 Posted 7 March 2015 At the moment I think Michael Oliver is the best of the current group
Soar Fox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 At the moment I think Michael Oliver is the best of the current group Was going to say him myself.
shailen Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 did you miss us vs Cardiff away in the playoffs? Alex Bruce on Chopra, that led to a penalty? tbf that was more of a penalty than any decision given against us this season
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Alex Bruce on Chopra, that led to a penalty? tbf that was more of a penalty than any decision given against us this season Chopra was also a mile offside before any other infringement took place.
st albans fox Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Fernanda Colombo Uliana She could 'pull me up' for anything! Seriously, who is going argue with her (apart from le Saux)!
Rob1742 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Roger Milford, especially for his performance in the Derby play off final in 94. Think it may have been his final game. Roger Milford was a great ref. Always knew it would be a good flowing game if he was in charge. And his final game was a pearl for us. On the reverse side I think it was George Courtney who reffed the Blackburn play off game. Many people told Brian Little to see if he could get the ref changed as they did he was bound to go out with the game being about him. Unfortunately with all the goings on with the preparations, BL did not get the ref changed. You may recall the final was about the ref and the ridiculous Speedie dive
Guest LCFC_World Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Wait.. This question is irrelevant, but have we only had 2 penaltys all season and those were against Man Utd?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 8 March 2015 Author Posted 8 March 2015 Who would want to be a referee? How much do they earn? 0

Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Earl Hebner, always did well in the big matches and took chair shots for fun.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 8 March 2015 Posted 8 March 2015 Anyone watching Orlando v NYC on SS3 now, the referee is giving one of the best performances I've seen in a long time. It may only be MLS but the quality of officiating is outstanding. Scratch that he's having a mare.
Parafox Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Milford was a great referee...always tried to relate to the players. Probably get dogs abuse for this, but personally always used to rate David Ellery.....The way he handled some of his high profile games never ceased to amaze me....Keane/Giggs/Adams (etc)...."F*** Off referee, that was a diabolical decision"".....Ellery...."YOU F*** off and leave me to deal with this"....Need more refs with that mindset! Good old Public School education. He was good though. Always had an air of authority without being over-imposing and he seemed to have a good relationship with top players.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Earl Hebner, always did well in the big matches and took chair shots for fun. He used to blow the finishes by changing his counting speed. Mike Chioda has always been the top referee. I did get a bargain Austin 3:16 shirt from his car boot after one show, though.
steveherbe Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 Michael Oliver ;p Go with this, brilliant performance by the ref tonight. Bet he's got earache from Rooney ranting at him for 90 minutes. What a fine example our England captain sets - moaning twat.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 March 2015 Posted 9 March 2015 At the moment I think Michael Oliver is the best of the current group
