Stadt Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 we always sing about past victories, shame its not about the football though.
Raj Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Clyne? He's at SouthamptonIs he regular at saints??.....god I thought I'd show more interest in Premier League players!!!Anyway,I've switched over now!,!
RowlattsFox Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 How can phil Jones be a defensive midfielder? He's not even a good defender. Standard england against anyone half decent so far. I think ive got my more technical ability than theo Walcott, playing him upfront just stops his only strength.
Stadt Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Is he regular at saints??... ..god I thought I'd show more interest in Premier League players!!! Anyway,I've switched over now!,! Yeah, he's much better than Glen Johnson.
GingerrrFox Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Italy taking the piss here with about 12 regular internationals missing.
Raj Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 we always sing about past victories, shame its not about the football though.Yeah,I find it embarassing really.just my opinion though!!!...BBC three have ukip n lib dems in a debate with the audience.
davieG Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 These are supposed to be PL players? Why do they keep giving the ball away with some of the simplest passes?

orangecity23 Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 This is appallingly bad. Zero width, terrible team selection. I never want to see Phil Jones in midfield ever again, the guy's barely acceptable as a centre back. Rooney being captain has meant we've shoehorned him in pointlessly again, so we've got three up front where 2 players only play in central areas, and the third (Walcott) has been bunged in the middle as well. No diamonds please, we've not got the players for it.
RedHux Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Italian TV has just mentioned Bobby Charlton. Felt like I was watching a fast show sketch.
davieG Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Sounds like you're describing Leicester players there Davie Aye but some of the misplaced passes by these have been worse than any I've seen from Leicester.

No diamonds please, we've not got the players for it. We do if Roy picked a proper side for it. Ross Barkley is sat on the bench and is perfect for the attacking midfield role. We have no wingers but lots of strikers which is why Roy wants 2 up top. If he played Carrick from the start this game would be completely different.
Stadt Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 When our players get the ball all of the others run forwards without anybody showing for the ball, it's actually so basic yet hampers our play massively.
Dan Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 What a deplorable half. This is such an ordinary Italy side as well.
RowlattsFox Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 We are always a better side with welbeck, at least he offers movement.
Brooksy Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Clyne was dross against Lithuania which says it all really. Makes danny simpson look like phillip lahm
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 I actually feel a little sorry for Phil Jones. Left Blackburn too early, moved to Yanited and has been shunted here there and everywhere since by club and country. Never going to come on as a centre half when he's being played there one in every four games at an age he needs to be playing consistently. Hopefully Carrick can inject a bit of class into a pump performance so far. How Walcott can demand what he is for a new contract from Arsenal when he's been injured for the best part of eighteen months and looks completely void of life is anyone's guess (and I'm a Walcott fan).
Stadt Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 We could play a half decent counter attacking team or as a high pressing energetic team but instead we see a technically limited midfield play a half-baked possession game, we need an actual style of play.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 March 2015 Posted 31 March 2015 Much tougher game than England are use to, so far I don't think this diamond system is working. Italy are not giving us much time on the ball, myself I'd stick on a couple of wingers. Maybe take Delph or Henderson off(though Delph is having a good game but we must change this system) and bring on Townsend and play Walcott on the other wing.
