Donut Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 A lot of deluded people on here. When i did my predictions, i completely ignored the fact that all the evidence points towards us being shit, and yet still thought we would win 4 and draw 2 of the remaining 9.
Kitchandro Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 I have us bottom on 30, Hull with 32 and QPR with 34. Sunderland stay up on GD with Burnley and Villa on 37. Hull have a very difficult run-in, a 4 point return isn't that ridiculous.
LCCFox96 Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 It's plausible that the wheels will come off one of the teams above and they have a run like our from late September-Decemeber. That would make catching them an achievable target, even if it didn't mean us pulling out of the bottom 3. I'd love to see Villa get sucked right back into it. 'The Sherwood Effect' my arse.

Fox92 Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Where are all these points coming from considering we've only won four games all season so far?
Gerard Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Where are all these points coming from considering we've only won four games all season so far? Have you seen our run in? The bookmakers will have a Leicester win as the most likely result in four of those matches. And of the five matches were a Leicester win isn't the most likely result we will still have expectations of something in the rest of the games. Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom (A) Chelsea, Southampton (H)

Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom (A) Chelsea, Southampton (H) I am optimistic, hence I still attend games, but some of these predictions are over the top aren't they. We're talking about teams we couldn't beat at home - Sunderland, Burnley, West Brom - never mind go to their play and get somesort of result.
kingcarr21 Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 i personally cant see us getting past 30 points regardless of who weve got left to play. The damage was done before xmas. It would take a monumental effort to even get within touching distance of 17th place let alone actually getting to 17th. I fully expect us to get relegated with not even getting close to surviving. I hope im proved wrong
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Being generous i have given us a win or two more than what is probably likely.... Re did again as realised Newcastle picking up like three points rest of season was little harsh. But i do think four wins and two draws could be enough if we're good enough. Burnley away is massive. Final table again.... Oh and btw i am currently on top of the Foxes talk predictor league on here so if anyone could be right it could be me ;-)
Monsell1976 Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 I predict we will get 5 more points, draw with burnley, draw with Sunderland, beat qpr. The way the season's gone, might be less, give or take a decision or two

And of the five matches were a Leicester win isn't the most likely result we will still have expectations of something in the rest of the games. Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom (A) Chelsea, Southampton (H) The teams we have left in our run in we managed to take 2 points of them in the reverse fixtures. We couldn't beat and score against Hull, Stoke, Crystal Palace, WBA and Sunderland at home. There's noting pointing towards us beating Chelsea, West Ham, Swansea and Southampton at home.
Ashley Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 I've said for a while I think we will stay up however it goes down to the QPR game.
Guest MattP Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 When you do this you realise if we could just string something together it's more than possible. A team could literally be staying up with just 30-31 points
Brooksy Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Leicester 0-1 west ham wba 2-1 leicester Leicester 0-1 Swansea Burnley 4-0 Leicester Leicester 0-2 Chelsea Leicester 1-1 Newcastle Leicester 0-3 Southampton Sunderland 1-0 Leicester Leicester 1-0 QPR Just realised i've got Man city to finish 7th and Arsenal to win the league, that'd be brilliant.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Leicester 0-1 west ham wba 2-1 leicester Leicester 0-1 Swansea Burnley 4-0 Leicester Leicester 0-2 Chelsea Leicester 1-1 Newcastle Leicester 0-3 Southampton Sunderland 1-0 Leicester Leicester 1-0 QPR Just realised i've got Man city to finish 7th and Arsenal to win the league, that'd be brilliant. Wow, you think we will restrict them to just 4 goals?

We couldn't beat and score against Hull, Stoke, Crystal Palace, WBA and Sunderland at home. There's noting pointing towards us beating Chelsea, West Ham, Swansea and Southampton at home. Irrelevant. Obviously if you take that point of view then the top teams can't be caught and the bottom teams can't get out. We have West Ham and Swansea to play at home whose seasons are over now, no chance of relegation or Europe. Their intensity might drop 10% as they have little to play for. Also by the time we play Newcastle they could also be in this group. Sunderland, Burnley away and QPR at home. We're at the very least as good as those teams and all three are winnable. West Brom away and Southampton and Chelsea at home will be tough but I'd still be hoping for at least a draw against all of them. We couldn't ask for a better run in. Six home games, three away. Our away fixtures are all amongst the poorest teams in the league and half our home games are against mid table teams with little to play for and QPR. We're adrift but we are still in charge of our own destiny.
filbertway Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 I thought I was being quite fair Wins Burnley, Toon, Swansea QPR. Draws Sunderland WBA West ham. Losses Southampton Chelsea
Brooksy Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 How'd you figure that? We've only lost a few by more than one goal and we're shite.
Renart Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 I still believe that it is possible. I think that it is unlikely but I still think that it is possible. And while it is possible I will hope. If we can go on a good run now then we might just get there. Many on here will wonder where some get the idea of so many (predicted) wins from. It comes from the fact that if you look at these games in isolation you do think that we can win them - irrelevant of what else has happened this season. And that is because we do have the players and we haven't been well beaten by teams (we are not due a thrashing - I have no idea where that comes from). It is often the case that a team stays up as a result of a run of 5 or 6 games (look at Palace's recent form). Admittedly that usually comes earlier in the season because as the season goes on the confidence of that team at the bottom begins to wane and picking themselves up for the fight gets tougher. However, in our case I do not see that as happened - they really are still fighting. The fact that we haven't been hammered does not suggest that we are due a thumping at all! It suggests that the players are still working for the team. Now, I think that it is unlikely that we will stay up but we are certainly not down yet and putting a run together considering how we are playing is not impossible!
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 We've only lost a few by more than one goal and we're shite. True, but not to Burnley.... reckon Saints will do us at the KP by a few
suffolk fox Posted 24 March 2015 Posted 24 March 2015 Of all the teams at the bottom Burnley probably have the easiest run in. We can't buy a win so even though we have six left at home it makes no difference us, Sunderland and qpr to go down.
