Benji Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 I'm worried about anonymity so I'll keep my extreme views to myself.
Burleyfox Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Have voted for all of the parties during my lifetime and was certainly brought up in a labour household. There is , however, one name that haunts the thought of my ever voting Labour again and that is "Dr David Kelly" - a good and decent man hounded by the dogs of Blair/Campbell with such a tragic result. May he rest in peace.
Nalis Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Hope this thread doesnt get deleted. I'm leaning towards Labour at the minute though I really do not want a Labour / SNP coalition. Will definitely vote though I dont think it will make a major difference as I live in a Labour stronghold.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 The BNP only have 8 candidates(or they did last I checked) and even the MRLP has more so that shouldn't really be an option. Spoilt ballot should be on there. Not personally sure yet. Want to vote Conservative but don't want to vote for Tredinnick so I'm leaning towards the Lib Dems or spoilt ballot
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 I literally do not know and probably won't make up my mind until polling day. Frankly, who cares really? I'm completely disillusioned with politics.
Harry - LCFC Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 I literally do not know and probably won't make up my mind until polling day. Frankly, who cares really? I'm completely disillusioned with politics. I do. There will be noticeably different impacts on the country depending upon which party gets into office, the difference might not be as big as it once was but it will be there. I think it's negligent not to find that important.
separator Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 I've always voted labour but not a big fan of Milliband, all very confusing. Will vote for Soulsby in the mayoral vote though, don't think he's done that bad a job really.
ealingfox Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 If you go to the effort of voting only to deliberately spoil the ballot paper you are a moron. Do you really think they open it up during the count and document your protest? No, they tear it up and discard it without even looking at the name. The only time you are wasting is your own.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Well, Labour screwed up the economy, and put us billions of pounds in debt, spending money they borrowed, and couldn't pay back. The Tories have had to get us back on track, and have drastically improved the economy, so I don't want to see Labour fvck us up again, especially as they will align themselves with the SNP, who wont be interested in helping out England. I would rather be nailed upside down on a cross, than vote Labour.

Well they are counted and published so it's really no different to voting Conservative in an ultra safe Labour seat or vice versa in terms of being a waste of time. The fact is 34% of people didn't vote last election, if those people wpoilt a ballot then it will get attention. The moronic thing is to throw away your democratic right by not bothering to turn up
ScouseFox Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 what does spoiling a ballot do? i've spoilt a lot of things in my life but never a ballot. sounds cool.
Captain... Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 A spoilt ballot gets counted along with all the unreadable and damaged incorrectly entered ballots, deliberately spoiling it will not be recorded differently than Derek the drunk whose cross was so badly written it couldn't be identified who he was voting for. I have put Labour, but only because I am in a marginal seat (Brentford and Isleworth) http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/2015guide/brentfordandisleworth/ if you're interested, and a vote for Labour will help keep the Tories out Westminster, if it was a safe seat and I had to vote for the party that most identifies with me, I still don't know, I can't make up my mind between Green, Yellow and Red they all appeal and disappoint on equal measures, the fact it is a marginal seat has swung the Labour vote for me, but I'm not sure I'm happy about this.
Stadt Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Not old enough but I'll vote Conservative in my school mock election
Mark_w Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 I would rather be nailed upside down on a cross, than vote Labour. Would you be willing to do it in return for a Labour leaning voter deciding not to vote? Just wondering.
Vicki Vixen Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 There's something not quite right about putting a cross in a box to vote. I was always taught at school that a tick is good and a cross is bad.
Captain... Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Would anyone swap their vote? http://voteswap.org/ @Mark_w Not sure you can swap your vote for DT nailing himself to a cross on this website, but it is worth a try.
Matt Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Undecided, really quite bored of the saga, I know it's quite important but i'm quite simply sick and tired of hearing all the build up, all the arguing and ultimately all the lies.
Gold_Coast_Fox. Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Conservative. Although it's a pain in the ass trying to vote on the other side of the world.
EastNeukFox Posted 23 April 2015 Posted 23 April 2015 Wot, no SNP option? ....what about us Scottish Foxes?
