4,000 not renewed

I am absolutely gutted but I won't be renewing at all. Sadly I'm moving to Sweden so my regular football will be IK Sirus in the Swedish second division which isn't ideal

ALLIANCE, GET THE BADGES

Not really sure if I'll try to get one this year,

I'm a Silver Member and been to every home I've been able to make,

However the main benefit for me would be the away game priority. I get really annoyed that members don't get any higher up the list dependant on how many away games they do. Why should a ST holder with no away games be higher up than a member with 6? Sunderland away has really wound me up. I went to Spurs away, Liverpool away, West Ham away, Villa away and Man City. Most of those games were when we were utterly shite and looked doomed but I didn't give a shit.

Now we've got a real chance of staying up, people come crawling out and take priority over me so I couldn't get one. It's left a bit of a sour taste,

I don't expect to be on par with ST holders but surely a member with 6 aways is worth more than a ST with none?

Totally agree. Only away matches should count towards priority. How did you get a ticket for Liverpool away though? That didn't get near silver members.

I'm off to live in France, been watching home and away since 1967. Gutted, but plan to come back to see as many matches as possible, even thought about getting a season ticket anyway, but couldn't justify it.

( I can't stay living in this country if the Eds get in with the scotch telling them what to do - effing nightmare! ).

Nice, that's pretty good. Seemed to be a lot of disappointed people that missed out last time anyway so I imagine we'll have sellouts again.

18000 already renewed before we know what division we're in is fantastic IMO. If the 4000 just don't renew full stop by June or whenever then you look at why they haven't returned but 80% renewal before the end of the season is incredible.

Disagree. A season ticket holder should always have priority over non season ticket holders, regardless of number away games that they have been to, because the season ticket holders money goes into Leicester's coffers as opposed to other clubs.

I got one off a lad at work who brought one and forgot it was New Years Day and was in Brighton for NYE, so admittedly it wouldn't have counted towards any hypothetical loyalty thing anyway but still

Exactly, shows how amazing our support is if we have sold 18000 with still a possibility that it could be for championship football. There's not a lot of clubs that have that kind of support especially whilst in a relegation battle

I see your point but other clubs do it.

My cousin is a Liverpool member and they do it very differently to us. ST Members with a high amount of away's get first dibs of course but after that your membership points come into play and actually mean something going back years,

I know Liverpool have a bigger fan base so can operate differently but it seems much fairer.

To be fair I'd be pissed off if I was a ST holder and couldn't get a ticket because someone with a £30 membership had it. However I think Loyalty points need to come in somewhere and mean something

Not renewing. Being in the PL is the pinnacle which we've reached. You only have to look at how well Southampton have improved this season yet they're still falling short of a European spot. You won't beat beating United at home in the manner we did so nothing next season will replicate that.

Plus I'm saving 200 a month for the Euros next year which I can't do with a ST. it'll kill me not going on the opening day of next season regardless of the league we're in.

I'm not renewing, I'll be going as a carer next year. I might not have renewed anyway, I was a season ticket holder for years in the championship but this year just hasn't really been value for money.

I live permanently in my overdraft and the cost of a season ticket gets me a couple of city breaks in Europe which I'd frankly get more enjoyment out of.

If that makes me plastic, cool.

I imagine a fair amount can be attributed to people moving to uni, moving away from Leicester etc, youd expect fluctuation to an extent, I imagine there will be just as many people moving back to Leicester who will want one

I'm waiting on my grad job location before I commit to buying one as I could end up in Scotland for 6months - I want one but wouldn't be able to afford it and the travel every other week.

To be honest I think most people our age are constantly overdrawn. Particularly if you have your own place.

Unfortunately I'm one of the 4,000 :(

With a baby on the way and working shifts I couldn't committ. Still really tempted lol

You are a disgrace. Putting your family first, what are you playing at?!?

I'm sure living in Sweden has it's benefits.  ;)

Can't say I blame some people..

Freezing prices sounds good but if we get relegated then it might feel like paying a premiership price for a championship ticket...

Do we really know that 4000 haven't renewed ?? A whole thread on unsubstantiated hearsay ??

How unlike Foxestalk eh?

Haven't enjoy this season on the whole, not a fan of Pearson, don't want to go back to the championship, but all this taken into account, I would miss the match day experience if I didn't renew.
