foxfanazer Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Getting two penalties against United The fans getting behind the players after we concede a goal.
bovril Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 My Dad watching the game at Anfield on final score and me on a slow stream in another room. 2 minutes of confusion and elation.
foxfanazer Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Vardy going mental after his goal v West Brom. Never seen anyone so pumped up after a goal
glenelgfox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Schlupp and his attempt "shot" in the first game of the season. NASA have just recovered the ball.
pleatout Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Just Cambiasso. Everything the bloke does off the ball oozes class, quality and experience. Vardy and the rest may be going mental celebrating the goal - Cambiasso gets a drink and has a chat with Pearson on the half way line and THEN wanders back into their half. Either he or Ulloa are the last to walk back into our half so that they cant kick off until WE are ready. Yesterday, our free kick on the edge of the box, Cambiasso picks up a crisp bag or summat, takes it off the pitch, hands it to a ball boy and wanders back on. No one picked him up until it was almost too late. The constant pointing, encouragement and general geeing up.
SomalianFox15 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 De Laet managing to kick the ball out of the stadium.
Zear0 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The Newcastle fans booing off the team making me appreciate what we have even more.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 King's winner against West Ham, then followed by vardys winner at west brim. Massive moments that changed the momentum into our favour.
fuchsntf Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The fact that the city fans created a great KP atmosphere, where the vibrations and rocking, even had us shaking in Germany. Had German fans, even complimenting and reporting on it, espesially when they found out its only slightly 30k fans and not 50k like Dortmund or Schalke. Marcins, every move, every tackle, every run, every challenge, and honesty.Only pole I would trust defending my house or car, let alone our goal.Strange with Huth we have 2 die hard foreigners defending British soil. At the moment I cant think of 2 other players, I want to replace them for next season.Unless its my mam and aunties, with swooshing handbags.
Spudulike Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Wood's late equaliser against Everton. I felt that we had arrived.
Jakemoore Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The series of nutmegs against Man United was amazing! Can't remember who it was against but watching Marc Albrighton destroy one of the opposition players with one of the best pieces of skill I've seen for a long time. Highlight of the season for me personally has to be the spurs FA Cup match. Living in London I don't go to as many games as I'd like but schlupp last minute winner was amazing!
LanguedocFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Couple of genuine little things from yesterday's game that really made me proud. First was about ten minutes from the end when Schlupp chased down on one of their defenders, took the ball with a slightly heavy touch and tore after it, getting there a split-second after their keeper. Won a throw-in but deserved a goal. And a similar thing when someone (Vardy?) came out of nowhere to nip between O'Shea and the goalkeeper to nick the ball, doing a somersault in the process and teeing up Kram for a shot that he should have blasted rather than tried to curve into the top left-hand corner. Little things because nothing came of either of them, but they really epitomised everything that is good about City as a team: fvck draws, we want to win!
onekeithweller Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 GTF in midfield against Fabregas, Matic, Ramires and Hazard!
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The turning point of this season was when one Jamie Vardy picked the ball up around the half way line, ran the length of the half and then pulled the trigger from the edge of the area. We went mad....we kinda knew something special could well happen. The West Brom game, we were pants first half. Nigel made the changes and its told...
LCFCDannyB Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 'Stand up if you've beat Tottenham' at the Emirates was brilliant
notnow john Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 West Ham had equalised our opening goal and now, in the second half were starting to gain a bit of control. Then they hit the post with what was excellent chance. If that had gone in,--- I dread to think.
weller54 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 GTF in midfield against Fabregas, Matic, Ramires and Hazard! We outweighed them in midfield still!!!
one F in Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Reading in this mornings paper that Wasyl had the second fastest sprinting speed of the game, behind Vardy! I think it was late in the game for a last ditch challenge, he was so determined to get there, and to be fair he did. He's been so entertaining all season, I don't know how he gets away with some of his challenges, he's the only defender that half of his tackles are with his arms!
Captain... Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I can't remember the game and I think it was Hamer in goal and he had gone up for a corner in the last minute and the corner was claimed by the oppo goalie who falls to the floor then Wasyl just sits on him to give Hamer chance to get back in goal. I also think singing off the players after the first Spurs defeat was massive, really gave the players a lift after an incredibly unlucky loss.

I've watched it nearly every day since he scored it. It was reminiscent of the goal against QPR last season. You could just sense something special was happening. It instantly makes me feel good just watching the West Brom goal. Vardy for me should now be considered one of the all time greats of the club. I hope he gets even better next season. Godspeed Jamie....
