I would be interested to see what people's views on this are? After the Premier League greatest escape, is he worthy of the accolade? Vote now!

Up there/nominated? Possibly.

He's got himself out of his own problem though. If he'd have taken over at Christmas from someone else then fair enough but 2/3 of our season was poor.

Not for me, it has been a brilliant achievement to keep us up. But someone like Monk or Koeman would be more deserving as what they have done has been pretty consistent over the whole season.

No, staying up is important but not award-worthy. Koeman and Monk are new managers who have improved their sides whilst Mourinho is the champion. They should be the top three.

Pearson could actually be given too much credit for this, in a strange way. Should be noted, obviously, and acknowledged but not at the level of winning awards.

Clearly the best manager of the past few months, but not manage of the season for me. We've done well to stay up, and been on an incredible run, but if we weren't so utterly poor (results wise) between October and March then we wouldn't have needed half the run we went on in the first place.

Monk, Hughes and Koeman have all had better seasons as a whole, Mourinho for winning the title so convincingly too I guess.

Koeman is probably the best shout. Monk too. At the rear end of the table, Sherwood has guided Villa to survival and an FA Cup final.

Nige is up there though.

It's a tough one to call, as most had us down as being relegated even before the season started, so to be bottom for so long and potentially finishing 13th is tough to ignore - it's really quite impressive

However, Monk and Koeman have both done far better than expected, Mourinho absolutely pissed the league, Pardew has done well - could be anyone. I think it'll go to Mourinho or Monk, and I wouldn't be able to argue against either

Can't believe Sherwood is getting mentioned, and even more ridiculous is Dyche (mentioned in some media outlets).

The media love in for those two makes me nauseous

Why? He's completely transformed Villa's season, got them to a cup final, and got Benteke back to his best.

Why? He took over at Villa who seemed to be going down and has led them to an FA Cup final.

Utterly baffling.... Dyche should be in PR or Politics, the spin he's put on what he has done that people have bought unquestioned is unbelievable.

Not for me. He recovered well in this last two months, but before the five/six months before that we were truly awful.

Rubbish. We weren't truly awful! We maintained a high level of performance and commitment throughout and for that he should commended. In fact, I'd argue that it is easier to come in as a new manager and galvanise a team at the bottom than it is to rejuvenate them having been there for a long period of time beforehand. If anything this makes our achievement even more noteworthy!

No, although the way we have played this season has been that of a mid table team. However, what Koeman has done after losing their star players last year is a bigger achievement imo. Followed by Monk. These last few games have been amazing but for me no manager that got 2 points from 33 should be awarded MOTY. Not far off the run Newcastle are on atm.

Not even slightly, ridiculous short termism. He's done very well to show a capacity to learn and improve but if he's going to take credit for our recovery he then also needs to take blame for our being in the situation in the first place.

You can't have it both ways.

I'd give him a 7/10 for the season and I'm hopeful he'll learn from this year and give us some tactical consistency next season based on this 343 but there's still a way to go.

I'd probably give MOTY to Koeman or Mourinho but a special mention for Pardew, without who Newcastle have bombed and with whom Palace have recovered spectacularly.
