purpleronnie Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Nice to know they're all getting the experience of failing in major tournaments.
Unabomber Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 I like how Gareth Southgate has grown a gay beard to try and disguise the fact that he hasn't got a ****ing clue about anything expect at how to be a tragic manager.
EnderbyFox Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Chalobah is playing like Pirlo tonight, every pass is straight to an Italian player
Dan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Chalobah is playing like Pirlo tonight, every pass is straight to an Italian player Nicking that
RowlattsFox Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Half the team tonight played in the championship last season. Not watching the game but how the **** is Forster-caskey, who played in a shite Brighton side playing and a premier league regular ward prowse is sat on the bench?
Dan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Half the team tonight played in the championship last season. Not watching the game but how the **** is Forster-caskey, who played in a shite Brighton side playing and a premier league regular ward prowse is sat on the bench? Because we're England. We do things to keep people quiet and not to progress. We are shite and well be until we have an enormous change in mentality.
Jaspa Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 C'mon lads, you don't even look like you want to win this! Where's the passion?
J.Lisemore Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 "We're we wrong to have big expectations for England in this tournament?"
Jimothy Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 "We're we wrong to have big expectations for England in this tournament?" What McManaman actually said when asked if we were wrong to have such high expectations was: "Yeah well I certainly thought we were high to have such wrong expectations" I've only just stopped laughing!
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Looking like they are out. England at tournaments are utterly woeful.
lgfualol Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Classic England. It's nice to know our youngsters are emulating the senior team. Isn't Chalobah on 30k a week at Chelsea? Probably more than most put together. Thank god we have foreigners in our leagues.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Yet again our ridiculously overpaid, over-hyped kids crash and burn. Like the senior team. How long does this have to go on for before we look like actually winning something?
Dan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 I await the inevitable from some that there'll be an over-reaction but really it's just further evidence of what a decent number have been saying for a while. We are woeful and we're getting further from the genuine top sides rather than closer. Yet again our ridiculously overpaid, over-hyped kids crash and burn. Like the senior team. How long does this have to go on for before we look like actually winning something? When the FA stop making cop-outs, when they start having footballing expectations, when people accept we're shite and stop falling for the paper that's over the cracks.

Our international teams have done nothing pretty much for decades.
Dan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Italy are turning into a right bogey side for us aren't they? That's 2012, 2014 and 2015 where they've had a massive role in knocking us out.
Dan Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 England and Sweden both score in the last minute. Sweden through and Italy out!

Corky Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 That third goal was one of the worst you'll concede. Semi-long throw, unmarked hopeful hook into the middle, free header. Abysmal.
Tielemans63 Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 It's not all bad news, Gareth Southgate is second favourite to be the next England manager after Gary Neville........
MC Prussian Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 The tournament curse strikes again for an English national squad. Can anyone who's seen all three England games tell me how Kane performed, looking at 0 goals in three matches? Doesn't this in a way indicate what he truly is all about or what - for a striker whom the media have hyped so much and who was a revelation in Premier League terms?
cambridgefox Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 Still not convinced with Kane seems a limited footballeri know what you mean.Next season is huge for him.Was it a flash in the pan and he will go back to previous seasons below average performances or has he really improved that much,I keep thinking the latter.
Wymsey Posted 24 June 2015 Posted 24 June 2015 If Kane had more pace about him, he'd much more 'all-rounded'. Slow as a slug.
