yorkie1999 Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Thought we were looking ok till they brought the 50 million pounds albino on.
Frost Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Its a shame Ward-Prowse went off. Not sure why Ings is on the wing mind, seems odd.
ealingfox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Is that #3 Luke Garbutt? If it is more like Luke Garbage! Absolute shite.
kingfox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Is that #3 Luke Garbutt? If it is more like Luke Garbage! Absolute shite. Got MOTM in the Friendly at Barnsley last week, his crossing was fantastic. Definitely the opposite of that tonight, been very poor.
ealingfox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Didnt deserve to lose that tbf. Jenkinson our best player for me. 1 each would have been fair but you can only point out that we failed to bag.
Stuntman_Mike Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Thought we were looking ok till they brought the 50 million pounds albino on. Possibly the most overrated player of all time.
kingfox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 After that no more Tom Carroll & Jesse Lingard please, absolute crap.
BlueSi13 Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Oh dear. Looks as if the curse of tournament football is killing us once again. Look absolute class in-between tournaments...bottle it on the big occasion.
CosbehFox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 If anything not direct enough for me. Looked a better side when Pritchard attacked a full back and Ings was behind Kane which occupied Carvalho more.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Don't really rate Lingard at present. Lingard is hopeless; no idea why we persevere with him.
Dan Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Lingard did nothing on loan for us. Did Liam Moore really get in the team ahead of John Stones?
Corky Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Stones is out for the first two matches due to concussion.
Wymsey Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 I read a BBC article around a few months ago, saying this this bunch of players 'have got what it takes to perform well in tournaments'. This was Phil McNulty, and what he said here appears to be nonsense.
ealingfox Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 First thought it when we won at Loftus Road in 13/14 and have seen nothing since to change my mind - Tom Carroll is absolute muck. I read a BBC article around a few months ago, saying this this bunch of players 'have got what it takes to perform well in tournaments'. This was Phil McNulty, and what he said here appears to be nonsense. No change there then. Its unbelievable some of the utter tobys that make it into the top football media jobs.
Matt Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Liam Moore starts again. Butland ©, Jenkinson, Moore, Gibson, Garbutt, Chalobah, Hughes, Carroll, Pritchard, Kane, Redmond.
ozleicester Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Interested to see Hughes play internationally. Hope that Liam has a blinder, relly want to see him do well.
Will1981 Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 "Luke Moore"? the BT commentators are a joke said they have left Jason Lingard out earlier.
Matt Posted 21 June 2015 Posted 21 June 2015 Danny Ings on. Ok so if Danny Ings is as good as the media like to make out, as he is being hyped up (Which I personally have doubts over, he's ok, done a good job at Burnley this year considering but I question how good he actually is, certainly not good enough for Liverpool and their aspirations - Mind you I think you need to look at Rodgers as regards that) but anyway why isn't he starting games for the U21's if he is actually that good.

Because the other striker who they've built up even more and is apparently worth £100m, is going to win 10 Balon D'ors, take over the world of football and be king of England one day, is starting instead. The media love Danny Ings, but he's no Harry Kane.

No reason why they can't play both if they're that good though, they're both playing at the same time now.
