Big_Nige Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Brilliant, you get a free rank beer that costs them 20p with your £50 ticket, bargain! (but not at half time) Haha. I wondered how long it would take. Cheers Vichai, best owners in the country.
Mike Oxlong Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Yeah yeah...presume you won't be having yours then? He should arrange to have it delivered by limo to Webbo who will be watching on a stream.
foxfanazer Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 The Thai culture is so giving. They must love the fact that they are appreciated by a whole city in England.Well apart from the odd dickhead
Webbo Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 He should arrange to have it delivered by limo to Webbo who will be watching on a stream. I'll even give him the 20p it cost the owners.
Sir Fynwy Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 All about softening up the masses for the unveiling of the new all red home kit on Sunday. I bet they'll have drugged the beer with something that makes everyone spend all their money in the club shop, the wankers!! But seriously, anyone who is slagging the owners off for giving out a free beer (or water) is a silly twit.
I blame Wellens Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Love Leicester City, beer and Mr Cambiasso. Off work next week. Life does not get any better than this.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Feel blessed to have them as owners. We're so lucky.
TrentFox Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Jeez! A fitting finale to the season. If this season gives any more, Susan Whelan will rock up at my house with that look in her eyes !!!!
iancognito Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 It's a nice gesture, but it's hardly amazing considering how much money LCFC PLC makes from it's customers. Don't see why people are blown away by this Because it's just that - a nice gesture. The likes of Leeds, Blackpool, Pompey, Hull, Newcastle & Cardiff would love a "nice gesture". Instead they've been mistreated & repeatedly kicked in the nuts over so many issues over so many years. These guys have put the money in, no colour changes, no name changes, no asset stripping, no seeking personal glory or attention. They're just here to run a successful business and make a profit. If it only costs them 50p a pint or whatever, so what? It's a £15000 gesture that I don't see anyone else offering their clubs' fans.

Fox92 Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 No. I pay them £450 a year. That's enough appreciation. Agree!
MooseBreath Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 It's a nice gesture, but it's hardly amazing considering how much money LCFC PLC makes from it's customers. Don't see why people are blown away by this That's the first I've heard about the club being a PLC, and the first I've heard about it making any profit in recent years. You must be a brilliant in the know. You also need to chill out and enjoy the moment friend, grab yourself a beer eh
tomtom Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 We have such a large amount of ungrateful moaning pricks as fans, I was stood behind some bloke in his 50s moaning at the bar staff at Sunderland that he didn't get any change from his free £5 voucher for his beer there too
Babylon Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 you pay the Club to watch the games. Thanks, I'd worked out how season tickets work.We have such a large amount of ungrateful moaning pricks as fans, I was stood behind some bloke in his 50s moaning at the bar staff at Sunderland that he didn't get any change from his free £5 voucher for his beer there tooHa ha ha you sure he wasn't joking?
biggs Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 You wouldn't see that here in Vancouver from any of the team owners but maybe I could send in a suggestion to them along these lines. Enjoy the match those that are going and cheers to the owners for what is a genuine gesture of appreciation.
foxychik Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 First post on here for ages ... but I really think we have the best owners in the Prem ... so what if the beer costs the relatively little, it's a gesture to say thanks to the fans - they know we are as much part of this club as they are, they got Pearson back when we needed him they've stuck by him when others would've got rid, they've sorted out our debts - they've left the footballing decisions to those that know what they are on about and they have got a great story in return to promote their brand - I can't think of any others owners I would swap them for they are a testament to foreign ownership long may they own our club
Hollism Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I feel awful for asking, but I am curious. I'm going to this game courtesy of the free ticket for helping with the collections for Birch's run. Will I be eligible for a free pint?

Guest Col city fan Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 You know with all the TV rights money coming the way of the Prem, do you think our owners (any owners) will actually lower ticket prices? Like really give something back to the loyal supporters? The free pint is great, I'm not knocking it one bit. But I do wonder whether something more meaningful, long term, might be done? West Ham are doing it next season apparently..ie lowering ticket prices. That would be a real big statement by the Thais.
MC Prussian Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Great gesture. It may not look the world in the grand scheme of things, but I can't recall any other owners in the Premier League (or even the Football League) being so gracious and generous towards the fans of their club(s). At least something to show some appreciation for the more or less constantly positive support home and away. Top lads, those Srivaddhanaprabhas.
