Corky Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Or maybe they were just much better than Stoke? We are much better than Swansea and beat them 3-0 in the middle of the season. 1st beating a lower team 4-0 isn't unusual. Fuss about nothing.

Im not for a second saying either team laid down, just saying that mentioning swansea being garbage and not mentioning stoke being equally garbage is a bit irritating.
Corky Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I understand that, I just think that the best teams will thump the lesser sides now and then. We were criticised for being boring and lucky for winning 1-0 and now we score a few it's because the opposition weren't bothered.
Tuna Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Charlie Austin has scored 1 goal for Southampton in 6 appearances, since January. Only started 2 games and so many people on here were moaning we didn't go in for him.

johnny the fox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 tbf he has struggled with injury but that's the point..
philce Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 but that's the point.. He was injured when they signed him.
Tuna Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Southampton have the look of a very good team. With a few additions they could really challenge next season.
STUHILL Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Southampton have the look of a very good team. With a few additions they could really challenge next season. Agreed. If they can hold onto their best players though as can see bigger teams trying to take players like Mane. Glad that Spurs have still got them and they have something to play for still as they could easily beat Spurs too and we may need them to if Chelsea don't
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Burnley back in the big time. Fair play to them. After they lost ings and trippier I thought they'd struggle to bounce back. Gray was some signing. Gravel throat back in the big time!
PhillippaT Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Who do we want to go up automatically with Burnley? Middlesbrough or Brighton?
chuck'em Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Charlie Austin has scored 1 goal for Southampton in 6 appearances, since January. Only started 2 games and so many people on here were moaning we didn't go in for him. I forgot he was even there.
Matt Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Charlie Austin has scored 1 goal for Southampton in 6 appearances, since January. Only started 2 games and so many people on here were moaning we didn't go in for him. Said he was overrated at the time. Maybe overrated is abit OTT but he's certainly not as good as people make out. tbf he has struggled with injury Another reason why I was against us signing him, injury prone.
ARTY_FOX Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Middlesbrough against Brighton on the last day too! Winner takes all
thebartonfox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Middlesbrough against Brighton on the last day too! Winner takes all Nuge vs Knocky, tricky to decide who to support!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Middlesbrough please to go up. Sheffield Wednesday Playoffs please
PhillippaT Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Middlesbrough against Brighton on the last day too! Winner takes all hence my question Who do we want?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Nuge vs Knocky, tricky to decide who to support! We want Boro to win and pip Burnley to the title so the Richie De Leat thing becomes a thing!
DarkTranquillity Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I wonder how many pound notes Dyche will spend this time around?
easilee Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Nuge vs Knocky, tricky to decide who to support! Nuge every time.
LJS Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 I'd like Brighton and Derby for the remaining places. The former for a new team in the top flight (more than 30 years since they were last up) and the latter for a local derby.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 Those Chelsea bar stewards better not let us down!!
LJS Posted 2 May 2016 Posted 2 May 2016 They've won one home game since Christmas. Spurs ought to be firm favourites. Still; come on Chelsea!
