Lcfc Jordan Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 imagine having Jerome as your 1st choice striker
katieakita Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 To think some on here wanted us to go for Jerome.
RowlattsFox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Norwich just aren't good enough and Neil is a little out of his depth.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Arsenal fans can't say Wenger isn't listening - they hold up "Time for Change" and just 4 minutes later, Coquelin is on for Sanchez
Socks Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Norwich have a game in hand over Newcastle so even if they lose today Newcatsle will still have to try and beat Spuds on last day Also Arsenal pulling away from Man U a bit will hopefully make them more desperate tomorrow and play into our hands maybe? That's my theory anyway and its a good theory but i think norwich are gone...
daddylonglegs Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Thats Norwich gone. Think thats a bit naive... game in hand a win and they're 1 clear
Kendal Fox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Norwich have a game in hand over Newcastle so even if they lose today Newcatsle will still have to try and beat Spuds on last day Also Arsenal pulling away from Man U a bit will hopefully make them more desperate tomorrow and play into our hands maybe? That's my theory anyway I'll second that. Also, Arsenal on 67 points now. So, should we lose or draw tomorrow, Spurs will be under extra pressure due to Arsenal breathing down their necks. Every little bit helps, but hopefully we can do it ourselves!
Kendal Fox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Whilst I don't take pleasure in seeing a team go down, I have to say that if Norwich do go down it's Alex Neil's fault almost entirely.Rather than trying to play to win, he played for draws too many times when there were still 12 or 13 games to go. I just don't get that "moral victory" attitude he had of trying to take single points against top table clubs like us, and now, with 3 games left he might very well be stung by his own hand.
foxes21 Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Harsh to put all the blame on Neill. Look at what he's working with. In the summer they signed Robbie Braddy, Graham Dorrans & Jarvis. Wtf? If I was a Norwich fan I'd be furious with their recruitment. They needed a few more signings in the summer. Instead they left it until January & have paid the price.
Kendal Fox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Not blaming him entirely but his tactics were far too negative when they could still have afforded to take risks - going back 10 games or so. Then, he was always projecting in the interviews trying to distract from the fact that he set the team up for draws and ended up losing. Think he is still culpable in his own way.
Langston Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 To think some on here wanted us to go for Jerome. Absolutely nobody on here wanted Cameron Jerome!
Super_horns Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Norwich and Sunderland will pick up 3 points against us if they just turn up and play a bit.. We made Villa look half decent until the final few minutes - maybe sums up their season! Still safe and cannot complain (even if the owners do...)
Sharpe's Fox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Neill is a bit melty but I'd put the quality of Norwich's squad on par with Burnley last year so he's done alright to still have a shot of staying up, all without being the utter cockend Sean Dyche manages to be.
filbertstreet Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 To think some on here wanted us to go for Jerome. no we wanted robson
stix Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Think thats a bit naive... game in hand a win and they're 1 clear Depends who their game in hand is against.
daddylonglegs Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Depends who their game in hand is against. I just think that as a Leicester fan you'd be mad to rule anything out in football!
Corky Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Wasn't it the Norwich fan channel who had some bloke asking why there was a fuss about Vardy and one of their strikers was much better?
daddylonglegs Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Wasn't it the Norwich fan channel who had some bloke asking why there was a fuss about Vardy and one of their strikers was much better? outside their ground after the game? yep. That was a good watch
StanSP Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Depends who their game in hand is against. Watford at home.
The Doctor Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Imagine being a Palace fan and thinking their squad is as good as ours Never mind that, remember the narwich fans claiming they were better than us back in October
MC Prussian Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Sometimes, you've got to question Arsenal fans - sod it, let's question them all the time: Wenger and his players had been warned there would be a toxic atmosphere at the Emirates, and protests calling for the end of the Frenchman's 20-year tenure began outside the stadium. Fans from the Arsenal Supporters' Trust, the Black Scarf Movement and Red Action handed out posters with the message 'time for a change' and some fans held them up after 12 and 78 minutes - 12 being the number of years the club has gone without winning the league. Various banners were held up, one saying 'Wenger - 12 years of excuses, Ranieri - 9 months, champions' in reference to Leicester's march towards the league title. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36118652 How is that even comparable? How about "Wenger - 18 years of constant European football, three titles, six FA Cups, six Community Shields" instead? Heck, he won them the league in his first full season at the club!
