Jimothy Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Kane is a good finisher, and strikers need to be a bit selfish. Apart from Rooney, Roy has some great strikers to choose from. Bit being the word I'd pick out there. A bit selfish, not totally selfish. Everything in moderation and all that.
Kendal Fox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 You're 10 points behind You're 10 points behind Tottering Hotspur You're 10 points behind.... Punctuated with "Tottering Hotspur we're still waiting for you!!!!"
AyewJoking Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 He must be super confident and he scores so many goals with shots that dont "look on" So its not shocking he tries a shot when perhaps there are better options. anyway, if its on target theres a chance of a rebound which you might argue is just as good as any assist.
Countryfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Arsenal finishing above Spurs would really be the cherry on top of the icing on the cake, I've detested them ever since 1961, quite a long time to carry a detestation but so glad I lived to see the City get one big one back after that cup final defeat. .... And Derby losing in the play offs .... Would be the bit of squirty cream on top of the cherry on top of the cake.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 2-2 Man City in real danger of slipping out the top four
ARM1968 Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I said before the Chelsea game that I didn't think Tottenham would win any of their 3 remaining games. They're gone. Mental nut brittle.
Matt Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 "We were here when we were shit". That is what the Man City fans were chanting during the game today. Now they've got to the Champions League semi-final, they got knocked out, ok, but I think most Man City fans were amazed they got that far. Ok they don't know where they're going to finish, might not even qualify for the CL. But their stadium is empty (When I say empty, about 10k have stopped) for their players to do a lap of honour/lap of appreciation whatever you wanna call it. This is Pellegrini's last home game, to say bye, now i'm not his biggest fan but I feel sorry for him, he's not done a bad job and bought a fair amount of success to the club. Man City fans "We were here when we were shit"....Have a word with yourselves, don't forget where you came from. I'd be disappointed if our fans did that.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Thought Man City fans were a disgrace and v disrespectful to Pellegrini today, shameful!
PhillippaT Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Phew. I came in here to ask if any other sadistic individuals wanted that to happen. COYG. My fiancee's an Arsenal fan, so count me in!
Webbo Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 My fiancee's an Arsenal fan, so count me in! And you're still with him?!
AyewJoking Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 so spurs face a battle at newcastle* and arsenal should bury villa, spurs to finish in 3rd place? *sunderland can relegate newcastle in midweek so might do spurs a favour.

Really quite exciting as an on looking. Nice to have no pressure now and just enjoy as a neutral rather than worring about permutations. Truth is though we've destroyed this league - which is proven when it turns out that potentially we won the league with against Sunderland.
PhillippaT Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 And you're still with him?! Him? She's a Leicester supporter now, too (She supports Arsenal for personal reasons - she grew up near Highbury and the occasional match she went to with her dad were the only times she really spent with him...)

Foxxed Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 25,24,24 - Kane, Vardy, Aguero. Reckon he'll be up for it again against Chelsea.
Blue'nWhiteFox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Just enjoy looking at the table: with these remaining games: 10.05.2016 West Ham - Man. StanSP Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 can't believe we'll be winning the league by at least 7 points.

Chelsea were perceived to have walked the league last season by winning it by 8 points. Arsenal (invincibles season) won it by 11 points, Chelsea in Mourinho's first season won it by 12, you have to go back to Man utd in 99-00 when they won it by 18 points. Amazing. Truly amazing achievement.

reynard Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs still aiming for that possession trophy though. 71% today according to the BBC and still lost! Never mind though it is all about possession. I can't believe how badly they've bottled it.

I can't believe how badly they've bottled it. Hahahaha, that is absolutely appalling if true. Southampton winners with 29%?! Exciting football my arse - Spurs have about as much penetration as a pensioner with erectile dysfunction.
Countryfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs are SO fookin arrogant and think that cus we nicked it off them this year (FFS !!) ... that they will probably win it next year. I really don't think they can wrap their heads round the fact that the best team won !!
