UPinCarolina Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I think what we're witnessing with Spurs is how much Dele Alli means to that side. Without him, they are a little toothless.
Corky Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Don't think the Swansea manager has been given enough credit for their turnaround. Predictably written off as a foreign no-mark who didn't know the league, they were two points from safety when he took over and had won 2 in 17 yet are now 11th, ten clear of the relegation zone, won at Arsenal, thumped West Ham who hadn't lost at home since August, won a crucial relegation match v Norwich in a run of 8 wins in 16 games.
Buce Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Come on The Magpies... Be great if they beat The Spuds last game!! Nice thought, but the Mags will be down by then.
Koke Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 We got criticised for going in a steak of 1-0 wins. Boring, tedious etc they said. I bet Spurs wish they could actually hold onto a lead and win games. We are easily the best team in the league this season. No debate. Any talk of Spurs being the best team is utter drivel.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Love the fact the phone number is the Spurs contact number!
ThaiFox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Spurs getting their just desserts after last week's snidey, cheating, dirty, dangerous performance. To think that a few weeks ago, I for one thought they were unbeatable and would win all their remaining games. Leicester now look by far the better team, and I wish I had had more faith earlier in the season. Not to mention Poncy's sour grapes moaning about other people wanting us to win the league!
The Doctor Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Kane is such a greedy bastard, he really is. Box packed, 2-1 down, 30 seconds left and he blasts it well wide from 25 yards with no clear sight of goal. 1 assist all season says it all. Spurs should be pissed off at the seagull-faced willy puller right now, he's potentially cost them 2nd with that shit. Reminds me of when Berahino struck that tame daisy cutter against us last season at 2-2 with a man on and we went on to win. I'm not professing to like Arsenal in the slightest, but the schadenfreude if they pip the Spuds to second place will be through the roof. I don't think I'll be able to stop smiling and laughing all summer. I've never hated a group of fans more in my life - it would break them to go through all this and STILL finish behind the Gunners. Yep. His intelligence is abysmal, no knowledge of when to shoot or when to pass. He's basically just yakubu, no all round game.
fazzyfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Vardy could follow up Mondays picture and send the following to Kane re how we're being chased by a pack of Lions
Kasey Keller Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 With hart and cech conceding it goes to the final day for the golden gloves then shame we conceded yesterday Aguero just bagged and is level with vardy now aint he?

I said basically the same about Kane after the Englabd Germany game and got ripped to shreds. Imagine the player he could be if he actually bothered, or knew to pass the ball in the last third. Imagine how many more goals Spurs would score if he could add assists to his scoring record. But he doesn't have the intelligence in and around the box to know when to pass, he just shoots. If Kane had been in the position Vardy was in against Palace before he laid it onto Mahrez, he'd have shot instead of picking out Erikson. That's one of the differences between the two teams and why we finished top.
onekeithweller Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Watching our three nearest (admittedly not that near) challengers today; bring on next season!
Koke Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Can't believe we ran away with the league. We didn't just win it,we absolutely pissed the league.
UPinCarolina Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Arsenal and Man City has been entertaining, if imprecise. Watching them now with open eyes (and seeing us toy with Everton yesterday) has really put just how GREAT Leicester has been this season into perspective.

I agree. His intelligence is pretty shocking. But he makes up for it by being a clinical finisher. I really hope Arsenal finish above them. Everyone will have a field day with Spurs if that happens. THE BEST TEAM EVA EVA !!!- and finish below one of Arsenal's worst seasons under Wenger.

THE BEST TEAM EVA EVA !!!- and finish below one of Arsenal's worst seasons under Wenger. Phew. I came in here to ask if any other sadistic individuals wanted that to happen. COYG.
Kendal Fox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Agreed that Arsenal finishing above Spurs would feel good and I hope they do. Just to add that I'm loathe to feel joy at others misery but the spite from Spurs and their fans coupled with Pochettino constantly spewing our name from his mouth, making it known that he hoped we would slip up week after week during the final 8 games has left me feeling very little goodwill towards them.Chat shit get banged and all that!!
Master Fox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I hate Arsenal more than any other club. Spurs are awful in their own right, but Arsenal are far worse.
norwichfox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Arsenal finishing above Spurs would really be the cherry on top of the icing on the cake, I've detested them ever since 1961, quite a long time to carry a detestation but so glad I lived to see the City get one big one back after that cup final defeat.
Kendal Fox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Can't believe we ran away with the league. We didn't just win it,we absolutely pissed the league. And that's after being handicapped without Vardy for 2 and a half matches, Drinky out for a tense last few minutes vs Utd and the Everton game and Huth out for the last 2!!! We'd have an absolute monster lead if we'd received the same benefit of the doubt that Spurs players have had these last few games... Still over the moon mind!!!!
Jimothy Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I agree. His intelligence is pretty shocking. But he makes up for it by being a clinical finisher. Does he tough? His goals have won Spurs nothing this season, yet how many more points could they have if he'd picked out a free team once or twice a game rather that sticking one in row z from a tight angle or meekly hitting the advertising board from 25 yards. I'm not saying he shouldn't take the opportunity to shoot at times, his goal v Arsenal showed he can scored brilliant goals. But they won't happen every time and looking up at times wouldn't hurt him or Spurs. Not that I really care, he can keep shanking shots into the stand from impossible positions if it keeps Spurs from winning stuff.
foxinsox Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 Kane is a good finisher, and strikers need to be a bit selfish. Apart from Rooney, Roy has some great strikers to choose from.
Matt Posted 8 May 2016 Posted 8 May 2016 I hate Arsenal more than any other club. Spurs are awful in their own right, but Arsenal are far worse. This but the way Tottenham acted last Monday, Fuck em'. Dirty bastards!
