shen Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Never been impressed with WBAs squad in recent seasons, but they seem to pick up key results every now and then to avoid relegation.
JPM1983 Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 I agree - lose Berahino and any struggles for Rondon and they are in big trouble. Lambert is a corpse now and Anichibe doesn't score goals. Might even have a punt on them going. They'll stay up, Pulis will retreat to his anti-football, hoof it up and get a goal on the break style, which will grind them out some results. Just be glad that he didn't appear at the KP.
MC Prussian Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 He allegedly had his medical at Stoke yesterday, and now it appears more and more likely that Xherdan Shaqiri will be part of the Potter family soon. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33842946
Fox92 Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 David Silva is literally too good. He was unbelievable yesterday.
suffolk fox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Ya ya toure is a different class than anyone else the man oozes quality was class all over the pitch makes it look so easy.
Bert Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Just me that thinks Berahino is massively overrated?
Riot Van Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Overrated, yeah probably but not massively. His movement in and around the box is very good.
RonnieTodger Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 David Silva is literally too good. He was unbelievable yesterday. Could play in any team in the world, he's that good.
kingcarr21 Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Good analysis on Van Aanholt from Carragher last night on how pedestrian he was against us. Never realised how little effort he made in the game. Literally standing there watching Leicester attack. Just doesnt seem interested in playing for Sunderland.
JPM1983 Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Just me that thinks Berahino is massively overrated? Not at all, slightly over rated but no way massively. Looks sharp in and around the box, unlucky to have his goal ruled out last night due to offside.

Literally standing there watching Leicester attack. Just doesnt seem interested in playing for Sunderland. Yeh that was interesting. Thought Carragher was cringe worthy when analysing Everton, almost like he thought he should find something clever and controversial to say seeing as Martinez was in the studio. Kept banging on about why did Marallis stay up front sometimes - obviously so they could counter. Why did Barry move wide occasionally - obviously to stretch the Watford midfield.
AKCJ Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Berahino is a decent player. One who could start regularly for a top 10 side but he's not worth anything near the 25m that I hear about. If he wasn't English then he'd be worth 10-12m.

AKCJ Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 What...After 1 bloody game!? Cmon Matt... He didn't reference last night's game at all...
Guest MattP Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 What...After 1 bloody game!? Cmon Matt... Not at all, based on the squad they have now and assuming they lose Berahino which looks likely, it's a fair shout, they won't be far away imo. Any team starting with James McClean isn't that strong. People have no problem now tipping us for top ten after one game
MC Prussian Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 What...After 1 bloody game!? Cmon Matt... Whenever I see you pop up in a West Bromwich-related thread, I can't help but think that this must be the poster on your ceiling you wake up to every morning:
ScouseFox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Just me that thinks Berahino is massively overrated? yep really don't think he'd get in our team
lcfcsnow Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Shall we wait and see how he does free of Pulis?

I didn't bracket you in with many others.. West Brom looked poor against a bang in - form Man City side who are now faves for the title. Give it a few weeks mate surely?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 West Brom should go down, but they won't.
Vacamion Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Whenever I see you pop up in a West Bromwich-related thread, I can't help but think that this must be the poster on your ceiling you wake up to every morning: Well that would put him off any sneaky onanism, at the very least.
MC Prussian Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 It's official: Stoke City have added to their bench.
AKCJ Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 I like to think Stoke signing Shaqiri is akin to my best mate and his wife. She is gorgeous and has an awesome personality and he's a complete sweaty knob.
