lgfualol Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Oh wow is that a real smile? Looks like he's having a stroke. Good signing though.
Dan Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Just me that thinks Berahino is massively overrated? He's not bad but I definitely think WBA would do very well if they got £20mil+ for him. Young, English and goals sees your value rocket by default nowadays though. Good analysis on Van Aanholt from Carragher last night on how pedestrian he was against us. Never realised how little effort he made in the game. Literally standing there watching Leicester attack. Just doesnt seem interested in playing for Sunderland. Nothing's changed since the Sven days. Someone dig out that analysis of the league's left backs that puts him 11th and Fuchs 18th As a side note... are Villa seriously signing Adama Traore? If they get him they'll be well clear of relegation IMO.
4everfox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 It's official: Stoke City have added to their bench. https://twitter.com/stokecity/status/631132168782278656 Stoke sign Shaqiri and we can't even convince Aranguiz to join us. What a joke.
shen Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Superb signing by Stoke there surely. What a squad they have these days!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Shaqiri isn't that impressive of a signing really, I don't think he'll have the attitude to actually give a toss at Stoke. Such a shame, could've been brilliant
Carl the Llama Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Shaqiri isn't that impressive of a signing really, I don't think he'll have the attitude to actually give a toss at Stoke. Such a shame, could've been brilliant Let him kick a ball first at least
ScouseFox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 i dont mean to come across all anti stoke but what the hell do people see in shaqiri? has he ever actually played well for two games in a row? or even two halves in a row? or even just ever?
The Horse's Mouth Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Let him kick a ball first at least That's more of a reflection of how his career has gone since he joined Bayern

Got to agree with this Scouse. Some player's reputations seem bigger and better than their performances. Shaqiri seems one such player.
ScouseFox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Got to agree with this Scouse. Some player's reputations seem bigger and better than their performances. Shaqiri seems one such player. inter seem pretty happy to get him out the club (and by the way what a deal for them, making their money back) and they are essentially a mid table italian club these days. if he was as good as people seem to believe he is then he'd have been bought for much more than £12 million (especially at his age) and bought by someone considerably better than stoke. no offence stoke.
AKCJ Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Superb signing by Stoke there surely. What a squad they have these days! Yet their strikers are still Diouf, Crouch and Walters.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Yet their strikers are still Diouf, Crouch and Walters. I'd take ours over theirs any day. They've lost their best player IMO.
filbertway Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Dont know enough about him to comment either way. Just going to be boring and see how he does for them.
The Blur Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Stoke sign Shaqiri and we can't even convince Aranguiz to join us. What a joke. You what? Aranguiz has an option of joining a club that compete in Europe while Shaqiri only had mid table prem clubs to choose from.
themistocles Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Shaqiri isn't that impressive of a signing really, I don't think he'll have the attitude to actually give a toss at Stoke. Such a shame, could've been brilliant If he wants a move to a bigger club in the future he's going to have to give a toss at stoke. With the transfer fees flying around this window 12 mill is a snippet. Kleenex has sold out everywhere in stoke today
NewburyFox Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 If he wants a move to a bigger club in the future he's going to have to give a toss at stoke. With the transfer fees flying around this window 12 mill is a snippet. Kleenex has sold out everywhere in stoke today Surely there's a reason it's that low though. I can't profess to have seen too much of him over the last couple of years, but his career is currently on a downwards trajectory. I'd guess the delay in joining Stoke was that he was waiting for bigger clubs to come in, especially for £12m, only they didn't.
Steven Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 Well that would put him off any sneaky onanism, at the very least. I think for some of the closet homosexuals on this forum, it might help them focus on the task in hand.

Fox92 Posted 11 August 2015 Posted 11 August 2015 BREAKING: Sky Sources: Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro will not be on the bench at Manchester City this weekend. #SSNHQ Just, wow. Not sure what else to add onto what everyone else thinks about Mourinho.
