Guest CityFan 06 Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 What does everybody think? I know the Poznan divides opinion amongst City fans, but will be interested to reckon if it will continue next season. From where I sit in SK1, I have to say when some of the Family Stand and L1 do it, it looks ok. But, I'm 50/50 whether I like it or not to be honest. Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 Dunno, let's have a binding vote on it now, and I'm sure when we score our first goal of the season, people will act accordingly.
Guesty Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 It's been here for a few seasons now. I don't think it'll just suddenly stop next season.
SemperEadem Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 Shocked at how by the looks of things a good 80% of L1 still does it.
ScouseFox Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 amazed it still happens and genuinely don't remember seeing it all season. probably still celebrating like a normal person by the time these lot have done their goal music/turn round/"poznan"/go quiet routine

Spudulike Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 It's far more than L1. Almost looks like about a third of the East Stand doing it. Looks good from the West Stand. I like it.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 Agree it would be better and look better if the whole ground did it, but the likelihood of that is not much.

Go one step further, and instead of having 30,000 clappers, we can get one massive one that creates a sonic wave big enough to knock him over. lcfcsnow Posted 30 May 2015 Share Posted 30 May 2015 Just another to go with a long list of embarrassments created by the children in L1, to go with their recent tragic rendition of the Vardy song.

theessexfox Posted 31 May 2015 Share Posted 31 May 2015 Love it woooo keep going Just means we've scored real doesn't it, so why would anyone have a problem with it?
leicesterseddon Posted 31 May 2015 Share Posted 31 May 2015 I'm not really a fan but I don't see it going away any time soon. The fact is, a majority of people (although of course not all) in the ground are reasonably happy to have a choreographed form of atmosphere (inlcuding a ritualistic post-goal celebration, drum, clappers, etc.). The reason why they are happy with this is because we don't really have any tradition in the new ground of being able to create a (consistent) atmosphere in any other way. An uncomfortable truth perhaps, but that's my sense of it...
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 31 May 2015 Share Posted 31 May 2015 Got old a long time ago. But hey, it's not hurting anyone, if people want to do it, then go for it.
