Almost like he was trying to alert the footballing world to the fact that his client is available for a last minute auction. And the media lapped it up on Twitter. Yet the word was that he wants to build something special here. If he weren't to sign now, just wouldn't add up. I'd go as far to day that if he didn't sign now, I wouldn't hold the club responsible and it would down to him receiving, late on, the kind of offer we couldn't match and his 'ambition' with the club not being as sincere as some think. Hopefully it doesn't drag on much longer. if the club believe he is signing, they won't have made plans for another midfielder and we need bodies in that area.

The one position that needed strengthening the most last season was midfield, with James dead and GTF () gone, we're slim - We need Cambiasso + another CM just to be stable in that area.
