Please don't mention first4lcfc, they aren't first for anything.

its just a fan page is it not?

I reckon the club will have known this for quite a while, which now explains the N'Zonzi offer. We would never have bought both if Cambiasso is coming back

We're not going to get N'Zonzi either

Oh, thanks for letting me know.

Well, he's not going to say that he wants to play Champions League football and then leave a club that's just finished 9th and come to us whilst Sevilla are interested, is he? Realistically there was a better chance of Kanté coming to us, and that doesn't look to be happening either

Fair enough

Marseille ARE a bigger club.

Can't blame him really going to play champions league football & doesn't have to move country's. We will have plenty of irons in the fire....

though without having checked - leicester is probably about the same distance from Caen than Marseille   :) but there is a big wet bit inbetween

probably closer in miles but  much further from Africa and CL.

Marseille from Caen's over twice the distance than Leicester from Caen

I know, but maybe you have never thought about the possibility that when players want to leave a club, for whatever reason, what they say is not always the exact truth. Furthermore some players may have a poor assessment of their own ability and subsequently then  their value in the market place. It may be that teams in England, France, Italy, Germany and Spain who are in the Champions League next season wouldn't maybe want N'Zonzi. ( By the way, £3M bid fron Sevilla is not a serious bid! ). Then he might have to play in the Estonia league to get his 'dream' move.

He might hate his manager, or playing in Stoke, or someone is shagging his wife, or the local kebab shop isn't good enough, or he doesn't like red and white stripes, or Huth is his matchday lover, who knows the real truth?

regardless of position's they were interested in Kante and will have the fund's to buy now. All depends which league he want's to play in, he might prefer to stay in France? who know's?

The French reporter on the radio said Kante is likely to be a replacement at Marseille for Giannelli Imbula who's more of the same mould, who is linked with the Milan clubs for £20mil.

They will have money to play with though. Your point is fair. I still however think if it really came to it we could outbid them on wages.

If N'Zonzi wants to leave 9th placed Stoke City after winning their POTS, I highly doubt his reason is because he's desperate to sign for us.
