N'golo Kante - Medical passed according to Radio Leicester

Just seen that Marseille are due to sign Idrissa Gueye from Lille. He's a centre midfielder so unless Marseille are looking to sign 2 centre midfielders hopefully it means they have decided to sign this fella instead of Kante. I know I'm probably over evaluating but you never know.

Reports say transfer fee £7.5M. Southampton and West Ham were after him, but appear to have missed out. Question now might be 'would Marseilles buy an additional central midfield player at the same sort of price?'

I can't see them buying two defensive midfielders as well to be honest. I hope not anyway.

So much money, so little taste  lol

After seeing him dressed like that I don't want him.

It may just be that I have no fashion sense, but you guys know the one in the really silly t-shirt and shorts isn't Kante right?

And it would be interesting to hear the view of our resident Frenchman EarlBeaumont.

Is the Kante deal more likely and will Marseille lose interest in Kante now they've signed Gueye?

How would you compare Kante to Gueye and which one would you prefer?

Clutching at straws again but with Marseille signing Idrissa Gueye and Kante turning up for training with Caen that certainly isn't a bad sign.

Whether it's a good sign remains to be seen.

Gueye signing for Villa this week according to Sky transfer centre. Good signing for them I fear.
