Sounds like a physical centre midfielder which is probably an area that needs improving so gets my vote (although I would love to get De Jong but dunno if unrealistic or not)

Good DF hopefully a James upgrade / replacement.... I fear though it's more likely looking like the end of tenure for Lesterban.

Been thinking for a while, we need a horrible kante in midfield.

Looks like he has variety in his game going by his youtube highlights, some good spreading of the ball to wide players so the likes of Schlupp, Albrighton, Vardy & maybe Sako will love him.

If we get this guy and Cambiasso doesn't sign, we still need a replacement for Cambiasso.

This guy does look VERY good but we need someone in the middle to dictate and orchestrate like Cambiasso did.

In the videos I saw he seemed to be at the centre of each play, he'd win the ball and spread the ball around well to attack.

"There have been some impressive performances from youngsters in France this season but N'Golo Kanté stands out of those to meet the requirements here. Having helped Caen secure promotion to Ligue 1 last season the pocket-sized midfielder has been a bundle of energy in the middle of the park as Patrice Garande's side attempt to consolidate their top-flight status.

Kanté has got forward when possible to weigh in with 2 goals and 4 assists this season - averaging 1.3 key passes and 1.4 dribbles per game - but it's defensive work rate that has really caught the eye. An excellent WhoScored.com rating of 7.41 comes as a result of having made 2.8 interceptions per game and 16 more tackles (143) than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues"
